They were given ten minutes of rest after the second match, and the way the second round of the game turned out didn't exactly disappoint either teams or the audience.
They would have doubted that the game was fixed if there were no resistance from the Cyanide Wolves, but with how everything turned out, the hype and anticipation heightened.
The third round began after the ten-minute break was over. For another reason apart from their recent victory, or for that very reason where they overpowered JLNC and aced them, Cyanide Wolves has the upper hand from the beginning of the third round.
However, being in a disadvantageous position did not mean that JLNC isn't developing well.
Rasheed and Kashmiri, who are keeping up their defenses against Veganca and Dancent, who are on the bottom lane managed to develop up to level 5.
"Captain, should I…?" Key turned to look at Rasheed
"Go," Rasheed said and Key's Pylae then disappeared into the bushes, leaving Rasheed's Maesta to fend for himself when with dealing two enemy shinigamis alone
"Quant, meet me at our jungle." Key called Quant
"On it," Quant said and headed down from the top lane to their team's jungle
{"What is JLNC planning now?"} Elvis Letterman asked after seeing the current turn of events
{"By the route Quant and Kashmiri are heading to, it's either they are planning to switch lanes or to work against the kitsune in JLNC's jungle."} Gino Morin theorized
As soon as Kashmiri's Pylae arrived at their jungle, Quant's Luxy began attacking the kitsune.
"Quant, use your maceries as soon as you finished off the kitsune." Rasheed said
"El, attack as soon as the Maceries is used." Rasheed added
"Copy," El replied
But things did not go as expected, Dancent and Empirst also strayed from their lanes and headed to the kitsune's grounds.
"Oh shoot, hide," Key said and they retreated into the bushes, leaving the half-blooded kitsune
"Should we take them out?" Quant asked
"Empirst or Dancent?" Key asked
"Whoever's closer," Quant replied and Key hummed in agreement
"Okay," she said and began attacking the closest shinigami, Dancent's Clypeus
Empirst's Sournoise retaliated by dealing damages against her but Quant used his maceries to protect Kashmiri's Pylae as she dealt damages against Clypeus, and because of this, El's Luccicare began dealing damage against the opponent Artorlder's Fiore.
The off-laner and support of both teams clashed in the Kitsune's area while their mid-laners clashed in the middle lane.
No one could determine who will end up as this round's first blood, but in the end, El, who was a level lower than the opponent was executed.
Once again, Cyanide Wolves dealt the first blood.
{"That was probably a miscommunication on JLNC's side."} Elvis Letterman commented
{"Yes, because Luccicare only started attacking after Luxy's Maceries was casted."} Gino Morin replied
"Develop, you two, finish that immediately," Rasheed said
"Yes, Captain," Quant and Key replied
They continued fending off Empirst's Sournoise and Dancent's Clypeus until they managed to settle the kill that Artorlder's Fiore took by draining Sournoise and Clypeus.
This development led to a clash between Rasheed's Blitz and Veganca's Chasseur in the bottom lane, and between Opal's Laidir and Scancell's Coraje in the top lane.
Key and Quant finished off the Kitsune and then headed back to their respective lanes, where Quant assisted Opal in killing Scancell's Coraje.
Rasheed has already pushed Veganca inside their tower when Key arrived in the bottom lane so she headed to the middle lane to finish off the half-blooded Artorlder.
{"JLNC aced Cyanide Wolves!"}
This development cheered JLNC's fans who are worried about their favorite team losing its win streak since the Seasonal Play-off.
They continued developing and leveling up while their opponents, and El's Luccicare resurrects.
They destroyed the towers during the opponent's 45s resurrection time. Dancent, the first between the two of them to be finished off, only had less than 10 seconds before his resurrection but after Artorlder's execution in Kashmiri's hands, the time reset to 45 seconds because they were aced.
"Dancent, Scancell, to the manticore with me as soon as we resurrect." Veganca said
"Yes, sir," the two replied
"Are you going to team up against her?" Artorlder asked them
"Yeah, I want to see how she'll retaliate," Veganca said
His teammates were quite confused because of his reply, they couldn't help but think that perhaps their captain has found the opponent's off-laner interesting.
He might've taken a liking to her, but of course, none of these speculations in their minds is true.
Veganca is purely curious about how Keychantel will retaliate once she's faced with a scenario that has once happened to her.
"They've resurrected," Opal reported when he saw Dancent roaming the base
Captain Rasheed tasked Quant and Opal to destroy the final outer defense tower so they will only deal with the inner defense tower and the base tower when they come to the opponent's base.
"Go to the Hydra's Lair," Rasheed said
"Captain, I'll head to the manticore," Key said
"Go," Rasheed said and they all headed to the Hydra's Lair
"Yes, Captain," they replied and controlled their respective shinigami in the direction of their target
Meanwhile, on the other side of the stage, Veganca has just instructed Artorlder and Empirst to disrupt JLNC's pace in dealing with the Hydra.
"Easy-peasy," Artorlder said arrogantly
"Let's see how far they can fight with distractions." Empirst grinned while speaking
"Don't be too confident, you two." Veganca reminded them
Kashmiri's Pylae headed to the Manticore's den while Rasheed's Blitz, Quant's Luxy, El's Luccicare, and Opal's Laidir headed to the Hydra's Lair.
"Do you need help, Key?" El asked
"Nah, I'm good," Key replied and looked at him while smiling
While they're dealing damage to their respective monster targets, they were suddenly attacked from all directions.
Quant and El received damages although they are on opposite sides, while Key received damages from the manticore, from the bushes behind her an on both sides of the den.
{"Oh, it seems that Cyanide Wolves' captain, support, and top-laner have decided to prey on the lone wolf in the manticore's den."} Elvis Letterman commented as the screen showed Pylae's current condition
{"And it seems that Artorlder's Fiore and Empirsts's Sournoise will only serve as a distraction until the three other members have finished off Kashmiri's Pylae."} Gino Morin said when it switched to the current turn of events in the Hydra's Lair
"Ah, really?" Key asked in disbelief when just as she finally finished off the manticore, she received another damage from Scancell which drained her close to half of her blood
"Did you get cornered again?" Opal asked
"Yeah, but I'll manage," Key replied and began running around the Manticore's den as if she is playing
This action of hers made the three opponents push their shinigami inside the den to attack her, her shinigami is defenseless and out in the open, but after Kashmiri finally got a view of what kind of shinigami her opponents are, she stopped running in circles.
It was as if something has flipped a switch in Kashmiri's system, her Pylae ran into the bushes and this action confused everyone, but Veganca managed to read what she was planning and couldn't help but feel quite amazed.
"Did she get scared?" Scancell asked his teammates
"Probably," Dancent replied
"Don't blame me if you die," Veganca muttered because of his teammates' exchange
"It's a sure w – Damn!" Dancent exclaimed when his screen turned to gray
"What happened – oh, fuck!" Scancell wanted to ask what happened to his teammate but he also muttered a cuss after he saw his screen turn gray
"What is happening to you guys?" Artorlder asked then after he heard them exclaim simultaneously
"Hi," Key playfully said and used the combination of her first and second skill to attack Veganca

What makes the gameplay popular and amazing in the eyes of the player is not only the fact that it only uses a combination of two skills, the first and second skill, to deal a large amount of damage to drain the opponent but also the fact that it seems like, as its name suggests, a glitch.
This technique exposes the loophole in the game that a player can take advantage of by using the upgrade orb.
The higher the level the skill has, the shorter the recharging time will be.

After finishing off the three shinigamis, Key headed to the Hydra's Lair.
She only has low blood and that is precisely why she headed to the Hydra's Lair, she didn't want to refill her blood by going back to the base to refill it, she want her blood to be filled by resurrection.
"I'm dead," Empirst said
"Fall back," Veganca called the remaining shinigami on the field after El and Opal finished Empirst off
Atorlder did as he was told, to be aced at a moment like this will be very unfavorable for them, their resurrection time will reset to 45 seconds again.
The whole arena went wild when Rasheed finally claimed the Hydra.
After claiming Hydra, JLNC headed forward to claim victory over Cyanide Wolves.
The battle was clearly in their favor, the shinigami that Key finished off in her jungle had just resurrected and are fighting them with Artorlder.
El, Opal, and Kashmiri dealt with the four of them, while their Captain and Quant dealt with the remaining towers that defend the base tower.
"Damn," Scancell felt his ego gravely bruised when Pylae killed his Vis again
After Scancell's shinigami died, Veganca's shinigami resurrected and dealt with the four of them, Pylae unsurprisingly died after receiving a hit from him.
The battle continued with the resurrection of one wolf at the death of one. Despite the seemingly endless resurrection, the computer screens on JLNC's sides was still the one graced by the gold star.
