"Hope I didn't disturb you guys. I brought some red velvet cake we picked up earlier." Emily told Levi.
Levi gave her a fake smile.
"Thank you for your hospitality, but I have to leave for now. I have to go to work." He told her.
"Oh, but you just came back." Emily told him.
"Being a CEO means lots of work." He told her.
"It's touching that you came here just to see her when you're so busy. But can't you spare a few minutes for a snack?" Emily asked him.
Levi checked the time again and looked at her.
"I guess I can spare a few minutes." He told her.
"Excellent." Emily said and gave him a piece of cake and then gave Plumeria one as well.
As she was handing the cake to Plumeria, she winked at her with a knowing smile.
She sighed internally as her mother left the room.
Levi sat down on her bed as he took a bite of the cake.
"So, what have you been doing these past days?" He asked her.
