"Shush. Be quiet or else they'll notice." Levi whispered to her.
Plumeria was still beside him with her hands bound behind her back, just like his. She was crying as he was trying to cut the ropes on his hands with a small broken glass that he found.
He managed to cut the rope, but unfortunately, the man saw Plumeria crying. He walked towards her in a dangerous stance and slapped her across the face.
"No more of your fucking whining or I'll tie you upside down!" He told her angrily.
But Plumeria started crying loudly.
Levi couldn't see her getting hurt anymore, so he got up and pushed the man away.
"Get away from her!" He told the man and covered Plumeria with his body while hugging her.
"You son of a bitch!" The man said in anger and took out the belt from his jeans. "I'll teach you both some manners!"
He raised the belt as high as he could and swung it down on Levi with all his might.
