There was a little commotion at the airport as five women stepped out of the departure lounge in style. What was so special about them?
It was the fact that they all dressed in the same manner of clothing, a black sexy, button long sleeve bodycon dress. They even curled their hair the same way, the waves cascading down their shoulders and four out of five of them were foreigners.
It wasn't every day that people got to see a stunt like this one, hence most of them pulled out their phones and began to take pictures of them. Not to mention that all five of them were beautiful and looked stunning, hence some people concluded that they might be celebrities or something - they didn't want to miss out on reporting the news first.
After all, we're in a digital world where people care about their phones and gaining more popularity than people's actual privacy and feelings.
"I told you this was going to work," Helen said proudly while they left the departure gate as this was her idea.
"Yeah, it sure did," In Ha nodded as she could still see people taking pictures of them.
Her main aim was to create some buzz, so when she crashed that party later tonight, it would go viral. Her father doesn't know what is coming his way.
She wasn't back for peace but for war to reclaim what was stolen from her because she was sure as hell that they wouldn't hand it to her peacefully.
"Let's go," In Ha said to them, intertwining her hands with Rachel and Helen who were beside while Gwen and Allison repeated the same gesture. They would do this together. Hana has been there for them all these years, now it was their turn to return the favor.
Meanwhile…..
There was a massive celebration in the Chae mansion as this was the night when the Lady of the house got engaged to the love of her life, Park Woo Bin hence it was a hubbub of activities.
"Make sure you cover all of the spots over there," Chae Soo Ah's mother pestered the make-up artist beautifying her daughter.
"Some annoying pimple popped up this morning, hence make sure it isn't visible to the human, not to talk of showing up in the cameras. Also, she has an interview right after this,"
The woman went on and on, even stressing the artist who wanted nothing but to yell at the mother to stop bothering her and let her do her job properly, but she couldn't. Not only were the Chae's a rich family, but they were also influential and ran in the social circle. Just a word from that weeb of a woman and she would lose many clients.
Unfortunately, most of her clients who granted her paycheck were the same aristocrats as her, and like the woman, their attitude was overbearing. But she had no choice but to endure, she needed the money.
Thankfully, Chae Soo Ah spoke up in the next minutes, "Mother, if you keep doing this, you would only end up stressing my makeup artist who might end up making a mistake on my face,"
Soo Ah sounded gentle at first but her tone became demanding in the next minute as she said, "Although I would really appreciate it if you don't make a mistake on my face. Like my mother said, you have to cover up that pimple. Of all days the damn thing had to pop up," She murmured, tilting her face sideways as she checked the pimple on the mirror in front of her when the makeup artist actually needed her to stay still to be able to continue her work.
She sighed inwardly, both mother and daughter were insufferable.
"I think the left is your best side," Her mother commented, lifting her chin to check it out - and stopping the beautician from doing her job as well.
"Show that to the cameras more. You are the spotlight of the night and wouldn't look anything less than stunning." Her mother said.
"Of course, mother." Soo Ah agreed. She had waited for many years to get married to her boyfriend and now it was happening, it was a dream come true.
Although it was a mere engagement, Soo Ah believed it was a huge progress. Getting married to Park Woo Bin would pave the way for her and her mother. Most of all, with Woo Bin by her side, she would be on the way to inheriting the company, instead of that wretched…. No, she doesn't want to call her name else it jinxed her luck.
"Could you please sit still!" snapped the artist who couldn't take it anymore.
Her outburst stunned the mother and daughter duo who stared at her. Did that low life just yell at them?
Seeing the embarrassment on their faces, the makeup artist quickly changed her attitude, and smiled at them awkwardly. She rephrased her words instantly, "I mean, could you sit still, we don't have much time before the interview begins."
Reminding them of the interview and the party got their head back into the game and they magnanimously forgave her. Although they wouldn't condone her action the next time, after all, they pay her handsomely for her services.
With Soo Ah finally behaving, the artist was able to work on her faster and was done in no time.
"Wow," Her mother let out a sharp exhale by her side as she stared at her daughter's reflection in the mirror.
"Sometimes I can't believe that this beautiful woman came out of me," She praised her daughter.
Of course, Soo Ah's head swelled with pride. She would be the star of the night, the feeling made her giddy.
"Now, if only that fiancé of yours would appear before the interview starts. Where the hell is he?" Her mother grunted, shifting away from her.
Soo Ah breathed nervously, where was Park Woo Bin? They promised to do the interview together.
As if they conjured him or something, the door opened with a snap, and in came Park Woo Bin with a charming smile.
"Mother," He greeted Soo Ah's mother who threw her face the other way. She was angry at him for his lateness. Today was their engagement for crying out loud. What would people say if they heard that?
But Woo Bin didn't care about his future mother-in-law's attitude and instead walked over to Soo Ah and placed a kiss on her cheek from behind.
Soo Ah's heart skipped a beat and for a moment, things were simpler between them. But then, that was until she turned her head and saw a lip stain inside of his collar that wasn't hers.
