Zach had decided to add 10 points to his Strength, 10 points to his Agility, 5 points to his Endurance, and 5 points to his Vitality.
Zach clapped his hand when he was satisfied with his current Stats and Skills.
"Tomorrow, I will start getting stronger and regain my original form. I don't want to stay like a ten-year-old demon child. I'm coming back to the human world! Hahaha, Let's spread evilness to the world once again."
"Wait for me, I, Zach the demon, will return!" Zach declared while bursting into a sinister laugh.
Soon, Zach had decided to take a rest. He closed his eyes and finally drifted off to sleep.
The next day, Zach was awakened by Ryuki's claw that was poking his face.
"Master, get up! We have to leave now and proceed to the portal. The gates going to the human world have been open! We must hurry!"
Zach snapped his eyes open and his sleepiness disappeared in an instant after hearing Ryuki's words. He sat up and jumped off the bed in a hurry.
"Why did I oversleep? Are we going to be left behind? Are the portals closing? Can't we pass through the gates now? Are we late?" Zach asked him in his panicking voice.
He shouldn't miss this opportunity of going back to the human world! Never.
"Master, calm down! The portal gates are open 24 hours today. It is just that we should go there quickly because there are lots of demons going to the human world today. Do you want to get caught in the middle of the demon crowd?"
"No!" Zach promptly responded.
"Okay, Master! Let's go now!"
Zach and Ryuki went to the nearest gate from their current location. They saw other demons walk in the direction of the portal.
Ryuki was right. Lots of demons were preparing to leave the Asura Land today and most of them were excited.
Upon reaching the portal, demons were swarming around the area. Zach's jaw dropped seeing the long queue of demons lining up in front of the portal.
The portal looked like a large stone arch with an orange light in the middle. The demons were passing through the portal one after another.
Zach was about to go and line up as well when he noticed that some demons were looking at him.
A deep crease formed on Zach's forehead as he could hear some distinct chattering of the demons around him as if they were talking about him.
He was a little bit confused because he didn't know them. He turned to his left and right but no one was beside him except Ryuki. So he was certain that those strange gazes were directed at him.
Zach crumpled his face as he didn't want the way they were looking at him.
"What's with them? Why are they staring at me like they are seeing something funny?"
Ryuki overheard the conversation of the other demons so he relayed it to Zach.
"Master, some demons said the scaredy-cat is here! The loser jumper showed himself! I think this is the work of the five demons we encountered yesterday."
"They spread false rumors saying you are a scaredy-demon. Now other demons are looking down and making fun of you, Master!"
Zach: "..."
'Damn! They completely ruined my image in just one day?!! Unbelievable!!! When I started living as Assassin Dark Shadow, no one dared to make fun of me, or else they would meet their tragic end!'
Zach couldn't help but clench his fists, cracking his knuckles in annoyance.
