As consciousness slowly appeared to Neil. In the last place, his consciousness was forcibly snatched away, and in this place, he awoke faced with pain that was so excruciating his inner and physical. A small alley away from the crowd, a suitable place for torture. No one would know, even when he shouted.
Neil looked around and couldn't find the people who tortured him earlier. How long has he been unconscious? The dim hallway between tall buildings made Neil feel small and claustrophobic. He couldn't stand being here for too long.
Neil wanted to run, but his body felt crushed to pieces.
When Neil remembered the new incident that happened to him instantly his tears melted. Neil was so disgusted that he wanted to vomit and drown himself in the deepest puddle. Men for themselves it's okay to cry when they no longer know how to channel emotions. Neil what to do after this, it's hard to pretend to come back. Neil is all too familiar with falsehoods around his grey world. So this time it shouldn't be a problem for him anymore. Should.
Neil tried to stand up from his sleeping position. Sick. The increasingly stabbing pain made him almost lose focus. When Neil started to stand up well, he stepped up with foot-dragging. The pain was further piercing her groin and waist as she stepped closer to her bag which was next to the trash can.
It's outrageous. They're outrageous. After physically injuring him, his pride was forcibly snatched away. The only thing he's grateful for is that they hurt the wrong people. They don't even know the face of their victims. Although he looks twins, it's not that he's different. Neil wants to hurry home, crying over his blackened universe.
Neil slightly lowered his head to pick up the bag. He saw a fairly large mirror with a width and height the size of himself leaning against the wall. The mirror still looks new, a wood carving patterned with gold and deep red roses on its frame. It looks awkward to be in a narrow alley on the side of a garbage can. The owner may have deliberately thrown it away.
The reflection of himself in the mirror made Neil look miserable. His vocational uniforms have been checked mixed with soil. Blood on the cheeks and corners of his lips. Neil's sick. On him. On them.
His hand swung punching the mirror right in the reflection of his face. Sick. Let the mirror be destroyed like his life. Even if it's put back together, it will never be the same again. Now Neil will let his life flow like blood coming out of his hands.
Neil closed his eyes tightly, neutralizing emotions. He doesn't want emotions to overwhelm him. Neil tightened his grip on the bag and exhaled.
His bright brown eyes opened up ready to return to being Neil as usual. Assume everything is fine, and nothing ever happens. Burying it all in his deepest mind, Neil doesn't want vengeance to take over his life. He will wear a thicker mask. But, wait!
There's something wrong with Neil's vision, where's the mirror?
Neil's heart raced, his legs went limp when he knew where his feet were now. Why was he standing on a high place above the balcony wall of his school building on the third floor? Neil almost lurched forward with a heavy wind coming from behind him. Just one step forward his body could shatter into the ground.
Neil slowly descended, with a trembling body. He sat limp. Squeezing his hair, Neil screamed until his throat hurt. No matter how destroyed Neil's life he won't kill himself. Never will. He just wanted to disappear for a moment, not end his life.
"It's impossible," Neil lied, still dazed by what had happened to him.
"Why?" A person's voice entered Neil's sense of hearing. Neil immediately turned to the origin of the voice and was immediately confronted by Skylar who was standing in front of him. Neil could only shake his head. No, Skylar wasn't supposed to see him like this.
Neil slowly rose to his feet as his head throbbed and immediately leaned against the wall that felt warm in his hand. Neil wanted to leave but he couldn't afford it, so he just stood still looking at Skylar who this time looked awkward.
"Why? Sick?" Skylar grinned his hands in front of his chest. It made Neil frown and stare at Skylar strangely. Neil just kept his throat still sore when he shouted just now.
"Why not jump earlier? I want to see you crushed down there," he said in a humorous tone. What happened to Skylar? No matter how clear Skylar was towards Neil, he had never treated Neil like this before.
"Why Skylar?" asked Neil in his hoarse voice. Neil couldn't stand up, he slumped to his seat.
"You're the one why?" Skylar asked boredly.
Neil was once again silent, not knowing what had happened to Skylar.
Skylar finally broke the silence. In a cold voice, Skylar spoke again. "That's why the school is for learning, not fighting. I think it's hard for you."
Neil was astonished by Skylar's words. Poking right into Neil's heart. Make his life once again falter. Skylar just left after saying that. Now Neil is alone. No, Neil still has his best friend Michelia. He has to see her.
Neil searched his phone in the bag and found it. He immediately contacted Michelia.
One time her call went unanswered, then a second-time Michelia replied in a lazy tone.
"Lia, are you busy?"
'Yes.' The call was immediately turned off by Michelia when usually she was never like that. What's wrong with these guys?
Skylar closed his eyes resting his tired and sick body. Which is broken into pieces. Could this be God's way of repaying all of Neil's past mistakes that he doesn't clearly remember? Which he just forgot. But why did this retaliation come? Then what happened when he was in a quiet alley in an instant he closed his eyes, Neil was one step away from death. It's like he's in another world. Neil hopes that this is just a dream when he opens his eyes then all this suffering is over.
Neil tried it, he opened his eyes but nothing happened.
Neil tried one last time. Closing his eyes longer, Neil held his eyes open for a while when he heard footsteps coming towards him. Is it Skylar coming back? Or is Neil already where he should be expected?
Neil opened his eyes wide but was instantly struck by someone he hadn't seen for a long time standing before him. Looking at him.
"You?"
