"Fine. But you are going to have to tell me first, how come you never really won the Kiyoshi Spirits Tournament? Like not even once?" She aske the question which gave Hakki intense feelings of self doubt and disbelief in his own abilities and powers.
"Wow, you really know how to ask the hurtful questions, eh?" Hakki said with an exaggerated sadness in his face.
"Enough about that, let's go." Akina said to Hakki as she finished packing up her schoolworks in her backpack. "You know, I would have loved to go to school if I was a normal person." Hakki said which caught Akina by surprise.
"Wait, do not tell me that you actually want to be a human?" She asked him. "Eh, I really do not know at this point." Hakki replied. "Come on, being one of the strongest spirits in the country surely has to account for something, right?" She said in a way to elevate Hakki's damped up mood.
Sid Lemmings finally saw the two of them emerge out of the house. He drove a black limousine as he put his sunglasses on. "Why do you have sunglasses, Sid? It is the dead of night…" Hakki pointed out which made Sid Lemmings smile.
He immediately took off the sunglasses. "Sorry, just a force of habit nowadays." He retorted back. "So, Miss Akina, your goal is to win the Kiyoshi Tournament, correct?" Sid asked her.
"I mean I guess that is the plan so this would all be over already." She replied.
"Once you win, you are going to have absolute control over the physical realm and the spiritual world in the form of Hakki." Sid explained to her. "But enough about my boring exposition and tiresome explanations, what sort of tunes do you want?" He asked as he scrambled around the pile of CD's in his glove compartment. "CD's are pretty cool, makes me feel like an old man, but it is always better for me to be able to touch what music I am playing, I do not know, it gives me the feeling of authenticity, that is." Sid Lemmings remarked.
Hakki whispered something into Akina's ears. "This guy's pretty mouthy…" The Fifth Spirit of Hunting said to her.
