Chapter 4 - The moment of realization.

"Timeo!" our Hero says with shock, "Is that my name?"

His two companions looked at him in bewilderment which turned into smiles of satisfactory mockery and then to uncontrollable laughter. "You don't remember your own name!" One blurts out while maintaining a look of mockery towards Timeo as he has been termed. "You know who I am. Don't you?..... Tell me now!" he commands with much power behind his words. "Or else what?" you have no power here!" one of them says to the Timeo with indignation. "I said tell me who I am!!" Timeo says with even more force. As he says this he rises from the ground and his eyes turn to a complete black and darkness surrounds him entirely.

Fear begins to creep into the eyes of his interlocutors who begin to show some trepidation before both uttering with a loud shout, "You have no power here!!" And point their hands towards Timeo. They glow a dark shade of red as their hands are pointed and immediately Timeo is swept off his stance and drawn back till he hits the tree and falls face first to the ground.

The two have receded in there metamorphosis. their scales of red, claws and spikes are clearly seen once more. They come closer to Timeo and stand right on top of him as though they were prepared to finish the job. Timeo faintly opens his eyes to see two demonical bodies standing above him with not thing but sinister intentions in their eyes. This was not going to end well. Fear crept into the eyes of Timeo and the two standing above him could see it, they could feel it, but they could not withstand what Timeo did.

"Get Away!!" Timeo screamed with as much courage and conviction as he could gather. And in that very moment light shined out from within him and the two standing over him were blown away. They were nowhere in sight when the light receded. Timeo was unconscious. He laid in the middle of the garden as lifeless as when he was first found. His strength had left him.

Those whom he had vanquished rematerialized just a few meter outside the entrance of the graveyard. They came together like magnetic sands recollecting itself until their full bodies had recreated to full form. Their was indignation in their eyes. They looked longingly towards the graveyard with every intention of going in to finish what they started. But their conviction was not sufficient to overcome their fear of facing Timeo again. They looked at each other and we're interrupted by the grieving cries of a woman in the distance. They look at each other in satisfaction and degenerate into what looks like sand particular which are carried by the wind in the direction of the cries.

Timeo on the other hand lies unconscious under the tree. Just then the darkness surrounding the tree intensifies. Hands, gross, rotten, decayed human hands, rise from the ground. The living dead rise from the graves. They claw and crawl to where Timeo lies. Timeo is still unconscious and shows no cognizance of whats happening around him. They claw over him and begin to drag him down. within seconds he cannot be seen from above the surface.

Timeo begins to regain his consciousness. He opens his eyes to see Three grey, old looking hags bowing to him. He looks around and finds himself in a dark, misty, cavern like underground. He looks at himself to see that he is seated in the very center of this strange place. He has reverted to his original form. He is seated on what looks like a throne and one of great power at that. The three hags bowing to him notice that he has regained consciousness and all rise their heads in unison. "My Lord!" they each shout at once. "Lord?!" Timeo responds in confusion. The three look at each other in a flustered look of shock. "He must have lost his memory in the blast." the one in the middle of the three says. "What blast?" The three look at each other as though in inquiry of what to do but do not utter a single word.

"Well!?" Timeo says with irritation clearly heard from his tone of voice. "We can not tell you, but we can show you my Lord. Come!" The one standing to the left says with some trepidation, likely in fear of the look of anger on the face of Timeo. The three hags lead the way through a cavern that head even further down. The darkness grows more and more intense as the go down. They finally come to the entrance of a cave that is as dark as pitch black himself. "Fear!" Timeo says in a staggering voice, "That's all that's down there." "Yes my Lord. And in your fears lies the answers you seek." says the one standing in the middle. "Then so be it." says Timeo before he heads down the cave and disappears into the darkness.
