Chapter 16 Awakening
As the accumulation of energy continued to radiate from Michael's body, The mark of a Golden dragon Began do appear on Michael's shoulder.
The mark appeared to be Illusory at first but it was slowly starting to become realistic, something similar to a tattoo. Then the mark began to expand revealing another dragon next to the first and the mark continued to expand, dragon after dragon formed and spread towards Michael's back then his arms until finally the mark covered the entirety of his body, by this point the mark had a total of ten dragons, one Dragon was in the lead as nine dragons trailed behind.
Once the dragons formed. The energy radiating from Michael's body Came to a sudden halt. Then the mark began to greedily absorb the energy into itself and as it did the mark Began to fade then appear again then fade and come back again.
This continued until all the energy was fully absorbed by the Mark or to be precise a tattoo. And as the energy ran out and the tattoos could no longer absorb any more, The Tattoos that covered Michael's body began to fade leaving no trace of them ever being there.
It took a long time for Michael to calm down his emotions. After crossing the door and returning to reality Michael couldn't help but remember his experiences and the family he left behind.
"Hey! System! Are you still there?."
Ding!
Always have been..
" Do you think... Will I ever be able to meet any of them ...in real life?."
Ding!
You already have..
That training room is special. It takes part of your soul and brands it before throwing it into the cycle of reincarnation. So in simple terms, what you experienced was all real. The only problem is when... the laws of reincarnation sometimes don't adhere to the rules of time so you might have lived those lives sometime in the past or in the future no one knows.
"Oh, I see."
Ding!
Host! I suggest you forget about unnecessary thoughts. Your goal has been accomplished and your experiences have become part of your past. There's no reason to think about it any longer, it's counter productive. Learn what you can and forget the rest.
"You're right! I've lived what I've needed to live and experienced what I've needed to experience. For now I should just focus on the future. Let's take things one step at a time."
"Now! let's head to our world bead!."
....
After lifting his spirits up Michael went to visit the world that was originally part of the world bead.
After returning to the lobby Michael went out the city gate and into the gate named planet/world only to end up in the middle of a meadow.
The Scenery could only be described as beautiful. The meadow was full of flowers of different shapes and colors, some flowers were known to Michael as for some of them they were completely unknown to him. But nonetheless they were still pleasing to the eyes.
Far off past the meadow you could see a winding river that stretched for miles only to disappear from view past a stretch of mountains.
The whole place made Michael feel warm and at peace.
"Okay! Now let's see how all of this works."
After enjoying the view for a while, Michael began to renovate the area. Although he thought the view was beautiful he still had a job to do, and besides the whole world was full of similar views such as the one in front of him and he only needed to renovate one of them. It was an easy choice to make.
With a thought a large area of land was cleared up and a town began to take its place. The town was made out of stone resembling that of the middle ages, Michael
Knew this place was meant to be explored by cultivators so he gave up the idea of making anything too fragile and too modern as it would only end up being broken or destroyed in the end. Everyone who entered would be competing for resources so it was only natural for problems to arise between them sooner or later leading to fights here and there.
After building the town Michael built himself a castle at the top of a mountain not too far away from the town where he would entertain guests in the future and where he would keep tabs of what was happening in town.
Michael put in more work into the appearance of the castle making the castle look very luxurious, not only from the outside but from the inside as well.
The Castles architecture resembled that of Mount Olympus castle from the stories Michael read when he was a kid. (For those that don't know, Mount Olympus Castle is a castle where All the Olympians lived together, set above the clouds at the top of Mount Olympus)
When he was finally done with his handy work Michael could help but feel proud of his creativity his only regret was that he couldn't bring the castle out from the bead as he wasn't strong enough yet to withstand the weight of a castle outside the bead.
With his work done Michael spent some time making some chairs and different kinds of furniture and filled the town's buildings with them including his castle before turning around to leave.
After returning to the real world only twenty minutes had passed by but big changes had already taken place in the real world. For one Michael had grown a couple of inches standing at around six feet maybe more but not less, his body appeared to be a lot healthier and have more mass to it and his handsomeness...well it was off the charts as always.
"Hehe, Seems like my height isn't the only thing that's grown a couple of inches."
And with that Michael closed his eyes and went back to sleep. Although Michael looked to be very energetic the opposite was actually the truth. After training for a thousand years and experiencing what seemed like endless torture Michael was already Mentally exhausted so it didn't take long for him to fall asleep.
And as the night went by Nothing but snores could be Heard in the quiet room.
Ding!
What a lucky kid...awakening the true dragon seal on his first try, I guess the future is going to get a lot more interesting.
