Chapter: 17 First Step
Weeks went by and Michael's daily routine didn't change much. His relationship with Cindy and Rose became even stronger after that night they spent together. And School became easier for Michael.
After consulting with the system Michael started training in the Training Hall and started learning useful skills before stepping into the world of cultivation.
One of the reasons was because Michael had awakened the True Dagon Seal. The seal originally consisted of stages starting from one to nine. One Dragon represented the strength of one Dragon, two Dragons represented the strength of two dragons and so on until the ninth Dragon where the Dragon seal made a full circle and grated the user with the power of the Dragon ancestor or in terms of the Dragon clan the power of the clan leader.
But in Michael's case instead of nine dragons there were ten, giving the seal a whole different meaning. Nine is a universally acknowledged symbol of unity, a completion of a cycle. As for ten, although it didn't have much of a difference in meaning, it also represented a taboo. Since ten was known as The starting point or the entrance to laws only a god should be able to control.
And in this case the tenth Dragon represented Luck or The rules of Luck. Based on Dragon culture The dragon of luck was an Illusory dragon born without a physical body hence its strength was Minimal at birth. But as it grew his luck would grow with it bringing to itself and others wealth and prosperity. The luck would continue to accumulate and be absorbed by the dragon until the dragon reached adulthood where he would finally materialize a body and with it the power of heaven.
Long story short Michael had no reason to cultivate, he would naturally break through when it was time, and if he needed resources they would start falling from the sky. Such was the Luck of the Tenth Dragon, the one and only heavenly dragon.
As for what other useful skills could he be training? The answer is simple. The skills necessary to make money! Apparently the training hall didn't just come full of cool and existing laws to practice but it also came with an assortment of crafts to learn from such as alchemy, Blacksmithing, cooking, Formation crafting, spell carving, ect. Ect.
And at this moment Michael was sitting inside the alchemy room, reviewing a scroll he found while searching through a bunch of books and recipes.
The room was not small, and seemed to be the insides of a wooden cabin probably somewhere in the woods.
It contained a work bench on one side of the room next to a giant chimney. And on the other side of the room there was a bed and huge round cauldron ment for pill making the size of Michael. On the same side of the room where the bed was located there was also a small kitchen made of stone which was surprisingly very clean.
Michael had spent over a year inside this room studying the Alchemy books he got from the first stage of his training.
After passing a few tests and creating some simple medications Michael had arrived in this room and had never left. The reason was the scroll in his hands.
The scroll was made out of some type of beast skin and was forged into a scroll and inscribed with a soul cultivation technique by the one who created the trial room.
The cultivation method consists of three parts. In the first part of the scroll was called smelting, in forging when smelting you would first grab something such as an ore, heat it, then melt it to extract something such as metal from it and done you have metal. In the case of the scroll the technique required the user to imagine oneself or to be more specific imagen your soul to be smelted for three Cycles, one to nine being one cycle and so on and so on until the third Cycle was completed in which case would end up with a completely transparent soul concluding the first section of the scroll.
In reality the process of smelting the soul was to get rid of any bad ideas, feelings, or traumas that still lingered within the soul. Although it sounded easy it was really hard to do especially since people tended to lean towards having bad or negative emotions.
But having completed the first part of the scroll the user would have strengthened their soul making it twice as strong as before.
The second part of the scroll was to forge the soul into a more compacted form. In this part the user would imagen hammering the sound and compressing it as much as possible without it cracking. This step would give the user an extra round of strength making it possible for the user to move small objects with his or her mind.
And the third part of the scroll was called Accumulation. By following a certain circulation method within the soul, The soul would then be able to gather energy and strengthen itself further transforming from Illusory to tangible being able to leave the user's body.
The scroll itself was heaven defying to say the least. Michael was in the process of completing the smelting process at the moment and after completing said process he would enter the ranks of a true alchemist.
And with the title of Alchemist Michael would have attained his third profession.
During the past few weeks Michael had been entering the world bead after school or in his free time in order to study anything he could use to make money and since the world bead could accelerate time he had been enjoying the freedom it brought as well.
Besides studying Michael had made renovations to the town he built and added roads, street lights and other commodities getting the world bead ready for future customers as well as contacting the Manager of his company K&K and getting to know the ins and outs of the company before figuring out how to attract those big clans and lone cultivators and getting them to purchase a spot to enter his world bead.
Everything was almost ready. To start his plan all Michael needed now was to take the first step into the world of Cultivation and everything would start from there.
