Sophie smiled as Tyrion held her hand and led her inside the huge building. There was an excitement in his body language which made her even more excited.
They stood inside the lift and Tyrion pressed the button for the thirteenth floor.
Sophie started getting jumpy aa she thought about all the possibilities. Her ideas, however we're interrupted by the ding of the lift telling them that they're finally there.
Tyrion looked down at her and grinned, Sophie mimicked his actions and Tyrion led her inside a huge wooden door.
Inside that door, was something so much marvellous than anything Sophie has ever seen. Yes, Sophie has seen the depths of the oceans, but never the heights of the sky. And here, inside that glass walled building, she could see the whole city. She took a deep breath and walked forward.
Everything looked so beautiful in the dark, just like the depths of the ocean. There were strings of lights connecting each other. Showing the streets and there were bunch of them together, next to each other, representing houses.
A huge house caught her attention and she noticed it was Tyrion's. She could see the gardens in the distance to it, illuminated by beautiful lamps. Although the gardens were not clearly visible, she could make sense of the situation.
"It's beautiful" she whispered as she felt someone's presence behind her.
Tyrion wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his forehead into the crook of her neck.
Sophie relaxed into his arms and stood there, still awed by the beauty.
"I used to come here with my cousins" Tyrion mumbled with his lips brushing across her bare neck.
"Must've been the best memories of your childhood" Sophie said.
"It was. And one day, I decided to increase the tourism so I held a meeting conference in this room." Tyrion said and Sophie softly nodded. "You should've seen the chaos" he laughed "people were not even coming near the corners as if they'd fell" he laughed and Sophie laughed with him. "But that was on the roof. I had saved this place for a special moment" his hands around her waist tightened and she felt content.
They stood like that for a few minutes then Tyrion took her to set of mattress and cushions lit by fairy lights. The arrangement might've been simple but it took a lot of effort on Tyrion's part but he was not the one who jumped to take credits.
"This is so romantic Tyrion. Thank you so much" Sophie said as they sat on the mattress looking out the glass walls.
"Anything for you princess" Tyrion said as he took her hand and kissed it.
"My parents really loved tourism. That's the main reason they focused on creating places like these." He held her hand and pulled her close.
Sophie's head was lying on his chest and he was sitting with his back across the cushions. Their feet were crossed against each other.
Sophie's heart felt like it would explode. "That's so smart of them. They're making the infrastructure better and increasing business. No doubt you're so wise" she sighed as she leaned more into him.
Tyrion blushed as Sophie complimented him. "What about you princess. I've not heard much about your pack." Tyrion spoke.
"Actually my father he's more business oriented than family. It has been great for our kingdom. I mean pack. My mother on the other side has always been the closer one" Sophie spoke as the memories of her mother hit her. She missed her mother.
"I see." Tyrion spoke as he carefully thought about his next words "which element would you feel to the closest?" The sudden change of subjects made her shocked but she ignored it.
"Definitely water" she said and Tyrion laughed."why would you laugh on that" she questioned.
Tyrion shook his head "I should've guessed it from your pack's name" Sophie couldn't remember the stupid name her friends decided and just nodded.
"I think everybody there loves water" she said. She didn't liked lying to him but she needs to, especially until Goeth is found.
"I would love to visit that place with you some day" Tyrion locked their fingers. "I've heard you guys are close with magical creatures like fairies and selkies" he continued.
"Yes. They live with us" she spoke uncertain of what he has earlier been informed.
"That's a little careless don't you think?" Tyrion questioned her with a raised brow.
A gulp formed in her throat "no, I mean we're pretty close to them. I don't see a problem" she continued and Tyrion shook his head.
"No, they can never be trusted princess. I myself have a different corner for them in my pack. Usually we keep the fairies but the selkies, sirens and witches are never trusted"
"But why can't they be trusted?" Sophie questioned offended by his words. She can't hear him taking bad about her kind.
"You're innocent princess. One day you'll understand. The only thing they're good at is luring people" he continued and shook his head.
"I disagree. Maybe you didn't meet a nice one yet" she commented hopeful of him changing his mind in the future.
"Maybe. But I don't even intend to"
Both of them laid silent in their own thoughts for awhile when Tyrion's alarm went off. A smile broke on his face.
"Here comes the best part" he smiled as he held her hand. He turned off the fairy lights are red started surrounding them.
It was the sunrise. Sophie took a deep breath as the colours started dancing and then soon enough, the sun followed. It was marvellous she thought. The snuggled close to each other throughout the whole sunrise.
Tyrion held her cheek and kissed her forehead. "Thank your for being here with me princess" he genuinely spoke as his heart danced.
"I'm thankful that you chose me Tyrion. I can never forget this night." And with that, she gave him a soft peck on his lips and shyly went back.
After spending another few hours together, they decided it was time to go back.
The ride home was silent as Tyrion drove with his free hand on her thigh.
Sophie loved every moment of it but today, a new fear entered her. What will his reaction be when she tells him she's a selkie? And is she cheating him by lying about his identity.
They reached the mansion and before they left the car, Tyrion gave her another kiss on her lips, followed by four more.
Dreaming about every moment she just spent, she went back to her room. Liana came to her mind and she ran to meet her.
Sophie knew that liana's room was on the right of her room but which one?
Taking a rough guess, she knocked on the door which was opened by a disheveled grumpy Liana. As soon as she saw Sophie, she grinned and pulled her back inside.
"Girl. You need to tell me what happened" she had exclaimed when they sat on her bed.
And so Sophie did, she told Liana about her cozy little date except the making out parts.
"This sounds like a dream" Liam's sighed as she shifted in her bed. A purple ring was there on Liana's hand which caught Sophie's attention, she was sure Liana had never worn this before.
"Um Liana, what's with the ring?"
"Oh that" it looked like life was pulled out of Liana's face in an instant.
"I suppose you don't know what happened when you left" Liana gulped and Sophie shook her head.
"A princess died Jada."
