Chapter 11 - Careful Princess Jada

Sophie stood there in front of the medic's room where the body of the princess was kept.

The whole mansion was eerily quiet and it sent shivers down Sophie's spine.

She remembered what Liana has told her in the morning.

"The princess, her whole body turned black, her eyes started tearing with black blood."

"What!" Sophie had exclaimed. This was cursed siren magic.

"Yes, she started attacking people. She attacked a guard then she started choking on the air. Till then everybody had surrounded her. After that her whole body started turning black and her eyes started bleeding, but the blood was black"

Liana had told her.

Sophie gulped and opened the room. There stood a doctor who was taking to an old couple, who looked like royalty. They were the parents of the lost princess. Sophie could feel the cloud of negativity coming from another corner of the room and she made her way to it.

There lied the body of the princess which was surrounded by the beta, Aiden and a few other wolves who looked like they were assessing damage.

"Good afternoon princess Jada" Aiden greeted her and she bowed her head in reply.

"What happened to her?" She questioned even if she already had an idea. It was clearly a cursed siren's magic.

"We are checking. You will definitely be informed when we come to a conclusion" Aiden lied and Sophie knew that he was lying.

"That would be great" she bowed her head again. She needs to touch her hand so that she can be sure about it but with so many people, it will only increase suspicion on her.

"I'll be going back to my room. I just came here to" she looked at the woman's face and started sobbing "I just wanted to say goodbye. Just yesterday we were laughing together" she acted and in came another sob.

"I can understand your loss. Think about her parents" Aiden sadly said Sophie nodded.

"They must be devastated" she said. "I think i should leave now" she said bye and turned around to leave, only to turn so hard that she trembled.

He balance fell off and Aiden held her shoulder, but her hand had already went to the dead princess's hand. A heat wave shoot through her and she gritted her teeth.

"Careful Princess Jada" Aiden said as she stood back again. She nodded her head and left for her room.

This was a cursed siren's magic, there's no doubt to it now. And the only cursed siren who has something against her, is Goeth.

Sophie ran to her room and dialled Steven's number. After a few rings, Steven picked up the call.

"Hey Soph. Is everything alright?" He asked her.

"Did you do what I said Stevie?" She frantically asked and Steven stood up at the emergency in her voice.

"Yes, I did Actually Goe-" Sophie cut him in between and told him to text her.

She explained everything that has happened till today to him. The mirror, the woman she saw, the incident in Tyrion's room and finally the death of the princess.

Steven replied that her mother is completely fine, what she had earlier asked to know after her nightmare. Then he told her that Goeth had ran away.

A fear sat in her stomach. This is all Goethe's doing.

She typed in her next move and Steven confirmed.

They will catch Goeth and end her for good this time.

The evening came and all the princesses started getting ready for the competition in the evening. Today, they'll be meeting Tyrion to discuss some organisational issues with him. Tyrion will discuss issues with them and they'll find solutions.

The 10 remaining rincesses started going to Tyrion's room one by one. Some came out grumpy, some came out smiling.

Liana, Helena, Sophie, and another princess called Nala were left.

The beta called Liana in and Sophie gave a thumbs up to her. After what seemed like half an hour, Liana came out smiling. The meeting supposedly went well.

Princess Nala was called next but she just took around ten minutes when Helena was called in.

Sophie could see Helena turning off the bitchy side in her to go and meet Tyrion. Sophie rolled her eyes.

Helena took the longest in Tyrion's room and Sophie was starting to get bothered when she even heard giggled coming in from his room. Her irritation sky rocketed and she clenched her fists.

"Princess Jada, your turn" Aiden spoke as Helena came out giggling.

Sophie hastily nodded and rushed inside.

Yesterday, in the dark this room looked too different and when she went in, Tyrion smiled at her. Tyrion's face held worry and Sophie's brows crunched.

"Hello Princess" Tyrion greeted her as she sat next to him on his table, infront of her, the pack's strategic was sitting.

"Good afternoon" she nodded to the pack trader once she and Tyrion had sat.

"Good afternoon Princess. Shall we start?" Asked the strategic as Sophie nodded.

"If, someone breaks into the Alpha's room in the middle of a huge celebration, what might it mean?" The strategic asked her with raised brows.

It felt like air had been sucked out of her lungs. Do they know?

"I think the intruder can have two motives" she spoke with a fake confidence, if they didn't know anything, she won't let them know.

"What motives can it be according to you?" The strategic questioned.

"The intruder cannot be here for harm as he knows he will get caught. Which suggests to motive number one, he could've been here to get something" she looked in his eyes confidently "or leave something" she expected his expression to change but then she remembered that she took the siren's thumb.

"And what could the second motive be princess Jada?" Asked the strategic as she took a deep breath.

"For a distraction" she said. The strategic looked at her with admiration.

"What could the reason for that be?" He continued.

This exact question has been going on in her head for a long time, why would Goeth risk her freedom by getting caught for this?

"Personal grudges, strategic moves, sign of attack, a challenge. Possibilities could be endless, we should just focus on our findings and keep connecting dots" she replied and the strategic nodded.

"And lastly, if the Alpha, due to some reasons is no longer with us, do you think you can make this pack work? What would your strategies be?" He asks her as she gasps.

She cannot think about anything bad happening to Tyrion. Below the table, Tyrion's hand went to her thigh and he rubbed it a bit, trying to calm her.

"Strategically, I can make this pack work without him." She spoke with a low voice "but for me, I don't think how I can manage myself" she spoke as the strategic looked at her a little shocked.

He had expected her to tell him about her strategies and trying to tell him how good she'll be, but now, she practically just said that she won't be able to live without him. Too soon to say but if it does hold truth, who sees the time? Tyrion could feel his heart bumping across his chest.

The questions ended and Tyrion suggested the strategic to leave him and Sophie alone.

Sophie was sunken in her chair, thinking about what the strategic had just said. She will just get rid of him and ask hi mate how will she take care of his roles, Sophie rolled her eyes.

"Princess, come here" Tyrion was standing next to her and pulled her up.

He crushed her into a hug and started stroking her hair. "I'm not going anywhere ok" he said.

"You will never have to worry about loosing me" he said while she snuggled into him.

He lovingly soothed her.

They stood like that for a little time then Sophie left as the strategic came into the room to announce the results to Tyrion.

Sophie left the room feeling uneasy. This round was to be decided by the strategic and she had just messed up her last answer.

The princesses gathered around the the hall as the strategic entered with Tyrion to announce the results.

"Good evening Princesses" Tyrion greeted all of them "yesterday, as all of you might know, princess Joey left us. We need to stay extra safe, that's why it is important for all of you to wear the rings all the time" Tyrion spoke all the safety instructions "tested night, during the party, someone sneaked into my room."

Sophie stood there in shock noticing Tyrion's reaction as he spoke. "Required measures have been taken, there is no need for anyone of you to feel scared."

Tyrion kept on speaking and Sophie gulped. "Today, another two princesses will leave us sadly. Princess Stacey and Princess Geena, we were pleased to have you here but unfortunately, the time has been come"

"As for the princess who goes out with me" Tyrion's voice was uncertain and fearful, a deep feeling settled in Sophie's heart that it might not mean well.

"Princess Helena, you have won this round"
