(I don't know how I feel about this chapter, that said the next few chapters will be action, not a lot but some as I need to move into a time skip soon and btw does anyone know where I can find more info about the 6 great gods and what happen while they were there. I have some information but not a crazy amount. Still as always, Please enjoy.)
"So the first thing we need to deal with is the reward, if one of this weeks parties finally kills you. I mean a world item is a lot, and the exp will be extraordinary but I think.." sitting in this hall of thrones, a group of beings spoke on the incoming fights. Right now talking was the moon princess ranni and everyone here probably knew where she was going.
"As worlds first, and that's if they do win.. maybe something more personal for the guild or each member should do.." when i was rubbing my nonexistent chin, I spoke slowly letting everyone take in my words.
Mogh mad a few sounds of agreement while the others talked, "so like the world champions event? But this time on a larger scale.. I mean the max would be 30 people, so it shouldn't be impossible.." tapping his great spear on the ground, mogh spoke his mind.
"I don't think any of us would mind, like you said.. it's if they win. Beating nok is easier said then done and when they do, why not let them go crazy a little. Worlds first doesn't happen everyday.." one of the twin spoke in his girly boy voice as he leaned on his arm rest.
"I have to agree with my little brother, picking whatever they want, with in the realm of reason, nothing absolutely game breaking but more of a leg up on other players for a while.. but 30 is a lot of people so how about a guild item for the Raid parties and if this nines own goal win, seeing as there is only 9 of them, giving them each a wish if they win is more understandable ." Malenia said, looking at her brother for a moment and then to something that was probably on her Interface as she was touching the air.
"Yeah leave it up to her to think of everything, I agree worlds first is important.. but 30 people is a stretch, even if there are millions of players, having 30 people walking around with whatever desires they a want will have the community even more divided.. Ahh it's a pain in the ass, that said though.. I don't think a guild item would change much and that group of nine, it wouldn't be a problem accommodating them." Morgott spoke while some how Sounding like it was a pain in the ass.
'Their right, heteromorphic races are a thing here and the pking is still happening, if Momonga and his team wins it would be an upset but justified as being worlds first. But the human as well as humanoid races, and there guilds. Who have been trying for worlds first, don't need anymore power to have them push their weight around even more. No one will be able to say it's not fair, seeing as a party with less members actually did the impossible.' Thinking to myself, I was greatful to my other devs, yes maybe they don't think that deep and maybe I need to change this no killing humans rule soon but they did think no one guild should have to much power. 'Not all devs are good, actually most are ass holes but these guys. They know whats best for the community and the well being of the game. They think like gamers.'
"You want to stop that nok? Why are you using that skill in here?" Out of no where mogh and ranni said to me as they both looked at me while touching something on their interface.
"Yeah, your hitting everyone with 0 tick dmg ahah, if we weren't in this room, I could only imagine" following up on them, margot laughed for a second as he pointed out the 0 dmg that rapidly appeared around each of them.
"Huh.. oh my bad. I hit something on my interface by accident.." apparently while thinking, I hit a button that used a skill and was giving off a flame like golden light.
"Looks like the big bad final boss, makes mistakes to.. not like it matters anyway, you can't mess up more then ranni." Shaking his head mogh said as he laughed.
"Oh yeah, how did you forget to put your character back in AI mode after you logged off for weeks. People went to see you in the keep and your character just wasn't there, nok had to make up a story about it being bugged." Morgott said, pointing at ranni and laughed as he thought back on a event a few months ago.
"I..I.. I said I was sorry, I logged in and she was just walking into a wall! I forgot, you, you said you guys wouldn't bring it up again!" Ranni who was embarrassed, started to pout as I leaned over.
"Huh, umu.. nok? Why are you.." ranni who was picked up like a doll by me said, stopping only, when I used a finger to rub her head.
"Stop freaking out so much, it's fine ranni.. we all make mistakes and that goes for me to. It's just fun to watch you pout." Leaning down my neck I spoke, seeing her turn her head from me.
"I'm.. I'm not pouting, I know he just wants to make fun of me but it was embarrassing. Whatever it was funny seeing her walk into a wall when I logged in.." ranni laughed lightly as did everyone else seeing her act like a doll while in my hand.
"C-c-can you put me down now? I get it already.." when she saw what was happening, she pushed my finger away and I could only shake my head.
"I thought the ice cold mentality was only your ingame personality. Fine, either way the stream should start in 20." Shaking my head, I placed ranni down as I spoke to everyone here.
"I can't wait" Marget said.
"I'll help mod and deal with the pov for the stream.." Morgott said with a wave of his hand.
"I'll be in there, I need to work on coding for more weapon drops at the palace but I'll be there." Mogh said as the twins and ranni nodded.
"Thanks everyone, I know we all want what's best for this game, and this dlc it's not just mine, I couldn't do it without any of you, I m grateful, truly." With the most sincerity I could muster, I gave my thanks to the people in the room.
"Enough of the wet works, I'm going to go get ready. We all wouldn't be here without the other so there is no need for thanks, it's you nok who gave us all a chance to be apart of this team." Ranni said as she got nods from everyone and looked at me before logging out.
"She's right.."
"She really is.."
"I'll agree with her on this.."
The others started to give there acknowledgment of what Ranni said as I looked at the time and laughed at how corny I just sounded, and then shook my head.
"Well, i guess we all agree on the rewards and the rest could be ironed out after someone beats me." I said, looking at the teleport to boss room icon on my interface.
Everyone here nodded or said they agreeed as each and everyone started to disappear, well all except for one person who needed to go with me.
"Give them hell, nok.." each of the devs said as they left me and soon I pressed the icon to teleport me and the other dev to the boss room.
'Show me something entertaining, Nines own goal.'
