Aizawa stretched out in the teachers' lounge with a crisp new book in his lap, his lunch sitting next to him as he was about to dig in the door slammed open, causing him to slowly turn around.
"What are you doing-!?" The first-year teacher Aizawa spoke with at your party shouted.
"Uh...." Aizawa looked to his food than her. "...lunch break?"
"I'll watch your classes-" She spoke with her hands, "-just go!"
"But you said-?" Aizawa was confused.
"Forget what I said-" She brushed off, "-go!"
"Aizawa-!?" All Might come running in, "-do you know where she is!?"
"What is going on?" Aizawa looked from the two and their frantic expressions.
"Wait-" All Might shook his head, "-do you...do you not know!?"
"Know what?"
"Here." The teacher pulled out her phone and shoved it into the lazed teacher's face. Aizawa blinked a few times letting his eyes adjust to the bright phone.
On the screen it appeared to be a standoff between a group of thugs and a few heroes. There was too much screaming to make out anything useful, Aizawa was about to turn to the two and question what they were on until he heard:
"Five look out!" Slidin' Go's familiar voice wasn't chipper like he was a few hours ago. Aizawa furrowed his brows, sitting up right as he watched in disbelief as you turned hearing Slidin' Go's voice. The gun shot echoed through the phone's speakers watching you get hit in the chest as you drop.
"Five is down-!" A voice cried through the phone. "Five is down!"
"What?" Aizawa blinked a few times, trying to gather his thoughts. "When..." Aizawa stood. "...When did this happen?"
"Half hour ago." All Might answered, "Now I need you to get on that app and find where (y/n) is."
"I'm not assigned to her-" Aizawa replied, "-I can't see-"
"She isn't at a hospital." All Might stepped forward. "Dr. Shuzenji hasn't seen her in the system."
"Then where is she?"
"I don't know!" All Might panicked, it felt like they were just starting to get somewhere with you! "We need to contact-"
"HPSC headquarters-!" The first-year teacher jumped looking from her phone. "-she is there!"
"How do you-"
"I have a friend who works there. They just seen her!"
"Why is she there?"
"Who cares!" All Might waved, "She was just shot, let's go!"
"Thank you-" Aizawa went to thank the teacher.
"Go!" She yelled waving at them. The two teachers ran from the room, the first-year teacher spun on her heel, eye caught by Aizawa's abandoned lunch.
All Might famously drove like a mad man the entire way.
"Do you feel like this is getting all too familiar?" Aizawa wondered, holding onto the car door as All Might cut through traffic.
"She's our kid-" All Might turned to Aizawa, "-I'll tare this city apart before I lose her again."
All Might didn't bother hunting for a parking spot, he drove right to the steps throwing the car in parking and jumped out ignoring the open door as they took steps three at a time. All Might was panting, sweat clung to his forehead as they burst through the glass doors.
All Might's breath hitched upon seeing the crowed lobby, but his eyes automatically found you, who was handing off your jacket to a man dressed in a white lab coat. You stood by the counter wearing your boots, cargo pants and a simple black shirt.
"(y/n)-!" All Might cried out, tears pressed against his eyes seeing you. "-are you ok!? Where is the wound!? How much does it hurt!? Why aren't you in the hospital-!?" All Might spouted the boiled questions sickening him.
"We saw you were shot by a villain-" Aizawa calmly explained, "-why aren't you in the hospital?" Who was he going to strangle with his scarf today?
"I didn't get shot?" You turned to face them after the lab assistant excused himself.
"We-" All Might looked to Aizawa to confirm he wasn't exaggerating what he saw. "-We saw it!" You sucked in a deep tired breath, your fingers gripped the collar of your shirt pulling it down, exposing the bruising collarbone.
"I wear a vest." You plainly explain releasing the material.
"A....vest?" All Might turned to Aizawa.
"Yeah." You nod, "A bullet proof vest, it's built into my jacket. It was able to stop the bullet."
"Then why are you here?" Aizawa questioned, feeling just as confused as All Might.
"Because my vest was damaged by the shot." You shrugged, "It needs to be repaired before I use it again."
"Oh." All Might blinked, the suffocating worry he felt evaporated, turning to Slidin' Go, "What is wrong with you-!?" All Might snapped, grabbing a neatly placed magazine on the counter for people to use when waiting, he rolled it up and began hitting Slidin' Go. "-your job is to have her back! You allowed her to be shot!?"
"Uh..." You tilted your head, watching All Might in his skeleton of a hero wailing on a nearly seven-foot man with a rolled-up magazine. "...should we stop him?"
"In a minute." Aizawa hummed, just as disappointed in the pro-hero.
"You are to release her back into Aizawa's care-!" All Might demanded, "-and you can tell your HPSC fat cat she is done with this ridiculous deal until she has a clean bill of health-!"
"What's for dinner?" You wondered as your stomach rumbled.
----
"Ugh-!" Kaminari yawned, stretching his arms above his head. "-it's so early." He groaned, leaning against the counter.
"Yeah." Ochaco agreed as he began to yawn Midoriya walked into the kitchen. "Midoriya-!" Ochaco perked up, choking back her yawn. "-good morning!"
"Morning." Midoriya warmly smiled. "What smells so good?"
"Me!" Kirishima cheekily grinned. "I thought I'd treat us to a good breakfast!"
"Thanks Kirishima." Midoriya took a seat beside Ochaco. "You didn't have to do that."
"I know." The red head brushed off, "I just thought it's been such a hard time lately and..." He trailed off thinking about you. "...and I just thought it would be a great start to the day!"
"Well thank you." Midoriya turned to hear Bakugo walking into the dorm. "Kacchan?" He noticed how he wore basketball shorts and a plain shirt. "You're up early?"
"Or you're just up late." Bakugo rolled his eyes. "What's for breakfast I'm starving."
"I made eggs, bacon and toast." Kirishima answered.
"It better not taste bland like last time." Bakugo warned.
"Kirishima worked hard on cooking us breakfast-" Ochaco frowned, "-be a little nicer."
"I cook for you people and my food never sucks." Bakugo countered, "I expect the same."
"Man-" Jiro rubbed her face shuffling into the kitchen. "-I feel like crap."
"You always feel like crap in the morning." Kaminari pointed out.
"Because mornings suck." Jiro sighed, sinking into the open stool at the counter beside Midoriya. "Why does Aizawa want to see us so early on a freaking Saturday?"
"Who knows." Ochaco sighed,
"Are we just not gonna talk about it?" Kaminari wondered.
"Talk about what?"
"The whole (y/n) getting shot video we all saw yesterday." Kaminari scratched his neck. "I wonder if Aizawa is going to cancel our exercise-ow!" Kaminari protested as Mina came up and lightly smacked the back of his head.
"Don't talk like that."
"What did I do!?"
"(y/n) is fine." Mina stated, "I'm sure she will be in class today."
"Dude she was shot point blank in the chest-" Sero butted in, "-no way can she bounce back from-" Mina and Bakugo were about to tare Sero a new one when they all were shut down, hearts fluttering seeing you walking into the open.
"Wha-?" Mina breathed seeing you were coming from the direction of the dorms. Mina turns to Bakugo but saw he was just as shocked. Kirishima's mouth hung open, not noticing the egg fall from his spatula to the floor.
You are rubbing your stiff neck, wearing your uniform subtract a jacket at the same time a knock on the front door caused Mineta to patter his way over and open it, Mineta slowly looked up to see the towering hero known as Edgeshot.
"Sorry to bother you all so early-" The hero apologized, reaching his arm out holding your repaired jacket. "-but we need to get debriefed."
You nod, taking the jacket sorely slipping it on.
"Wait-" Mina stood, you turned your head. "-what are you...where are you...you were just hurt; you can't be going on yet another mission!"
"Aren't you kids supposed to be meeting with your teacher soon?" Edgeshot wondered.
"How do you know about our class schedule?" Kaminari carelessly pondered.
"We need to head out Five." Edgeshot replied, you nod glancing back to the confused bunch of U.A. students.
For a moment you wanted to turn and hear what Mina had to say, but instead you turned, following the pro-hero out the door. You still didn't know how to feel towards Class C1-A, or how to process everything that had happened with Puzzle.
"Well so much for a good start to the day." Kaminari commented, earning another slap to the back of the head from Mina.
"OW!" He dramatically cried out.
Class C1-A stood around in the gymnasium, dressed and ready for the day.
"On the bright side-" Toru reached out, touching Mina's arm wishing to cheer her up. "-we get to wear our hero costumes!" Toru hopped.
"Yeah." Mina weakly smiled, "We look so cute!"
"Ugh!" Sero groaned, "Why are we here on a weekend!? This is our time!"
"Then I guess I should give Class B a call-" Aizawa's voice sent shivers down the tape users spine, quickly the class spun around. "-I'm sure they would love this opportunity."
"Um-" Ochaco raised her hand. "-what opportunity?"
"Only one class from this school was able to participate-" Aizawa explained, "-and you all were chosen from your talent and skill."
"Really!?"
"Don't mess this up." Aizawa darkly warned, "You're all a representative of this school."
"Huh?"
"That's one way to put it-" A heavy voice laughed, turning the students again making a few dizzy.
"Your-!" Midoriya gasped seeing the chief of police walking up behind them.
"For those who do not know me-" The built man with the head of a beagle spoke loud and clear, "-my name is Kenji Tsuragamae, I am the chief of the police."
"What!?" The class got hyped up; a million questions flooded them fueling the excitement.
"If you do not pay much attention to politics-" The chief smirked, "-then you're not familiar with the charity event we will be hosting tonight in the Park Hyatt Hotel-" The chief smiled seeing the excited young heroes muttering among themselves.
"I have always wanted to stay there!" Ochaco breathed, "I heard it's the most beautiful hotel in Japan!"
Aizawa cleared his throat, quickly causing his students to quiet down.
"-yes, it is an exquisite hotel. We will have important people from all over joining us for this event tonight and with recent events I would like to beef up security." The chief explained, "There are multiple pro-heroes who will be patrolling the hotel and we ask each of you-"
"Really!?" The class jumped, "Your kidding!?"
"-I know this may seem exciting; woof, but this is still an important mission. I need you all to be serious." The chief explained, "U.A. promised they would be giving me their best team and I expect each of you to hold up their pristine reputation."
"Yes sir!"
"Very good." The chief nodded, "There are a line of vans waiting outside, we will all be taken to the hotel where each of you will be split into teams and placed with a hero."
"I am so excited!" Sero shook Kirishima.
"This is great!" Kirishima agreed following the chief of police.
"Mr. Aizawa?" Momo turned, seeing him not following. "Are you not coming?"
"I'm not." Aizawa replied.
"Why not?"
"Because-" Aizawa brushed over Momo's question. "-when you all return, I expect to only hear good things, understand?"
"Yes sir!" Class C1-A felt determined to make their beloved teacher proud.
With a wave of his hand Aizawa watched his students shuffle off behind the chief of police. He felt his nerves tingle, he wanted to go and be with his class, but he couldn't always be there for them. Aizawa turned once the last student walked through the door, leaving him alone in the gym.
"They will be ok."
Aizawa wheeled seeing All Might walking towards him.
"I know."
"They are going to be with the police and heroes." All Might patted his back.
"Why are you here?"
"They are my students too." All Might weakly smiled, "I wanted to see them off."
"Then why didn't you say anything?"
"I didn't want to steal your thunder!" All Might joked slapping Aizawa's back.
"Ugh." Aizawa groaned already feeling a new migraine coming on, and his kids weren't even here this time.
