Chapter 18 - Little Quarrel

Previously, Queeneira went to the toilet.

Selyn looked demandingly at Queeneira's change in attitude towards her brother, while Gavriel looked at his sister with a plan.

"To be honest, have you met Que before this?" Selyn asked suspiciously, because judging from Queene's reaction, it seemed that she was more upset than she seemed.

Gavriel just shrugged, reluctant to tell but he knew Selyn wouldn't give up, if she wanted to know something.

"We have met before, and have also given gifts directly. But it seems, your sister doesn't like gifts from me So, how do you do? Or do you have to talk privately with Que, El?" asked Gavriel pretending to be frustrated, so that Selyn who heard it glared in disbelief.

"This can't be because of your gift, it must be because you made the wrong word when giving a gift to Que," said Selyn, with a statement that was not entirely wrong.

Sorry, El. Actually it is more than that, Gavriel thought.

"Of course not El, then I want to try talking to Queene again," said Gavriel in a regretful tone, looking at his sister full of intentions that Selyn understood immediately.

"I understand, you calm down, just tonight you must talk with her, Ok?" said Selyn, with Gavriel who immediately stroked his sister's hair dear.

And here is now Selyn, she who left the two immediately hid and stood from a distance, seeing how awkward her brother and sister had been since she left.

"I'm sorry, Quee. I just want you two to be able to talk together, without any more awkwardness," Selyn whispered guiltily.

After that Selyn left her hiding place, walked towards the parking lot and then left the restaurant, not knowing if Queeneira was in danger.

joking.

It was impossible for Gavriel to bite Queeneira, precisely at this time both of them were still silent with each other with the atmosphere suddenly changing.

"Queene," Gavriel called after a long silence between the two. He looked at the love that had not yet arrived with longing eyes, but unfortunately Queeneira was reluctant to see it.

"Hmm."

Huft ...

Gavriel sighed, when his call was only answered with a small mumble, not to mention that his best friend's beautiful face didn't turn to look at him at all.

Oh my Goodness, Gavriel thought excitedly.

"Look at me, Queene. I'm talking to you," Gavriel asked in a slightly forced tone, making Queeneira finally turn around though with an unfriendly face.

"What? What do you want to talk about?" replied Queeneira sarcastically, looking at Gavriel with a clear aura of hostility.

"I miss you," said Gavriel suddenly, his tone so soft that Queeneira who heard it almost fell asleep.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Damn Gavriel, Queeneira cursed to herself.

With blushing cheeks even though it was faint, Queeneira turned away again, not wanting to see Gavriel's stiff expression softened a little let alone the look in his longing eyes, which could make his heart pump fast.

Cheating, Queeneira grumbled inwardly.

"Bullshit," said Queeneira, hardened not wanting to be tempted quickly.

"I swear," Gavrile said quickly. He tried to reach out his hand, about to hold Queeneira's hand which was on the table. But unfortunately, Queeneira grabbed it first and put it under the table, to squeeze it to reduce its restless effect.

Gavriel's outstretched hand stopped in the middle of the table, then with an annoyed clenched fist he pulled it back and held the stem of his wine glass, drinking it to the ground trying not to be swallowed by his disappointment.

Rejected when he was about to hold the hand of the woman he loved, who wouldn't be disappointed.

Fuck, Gavriel cursed.

"You're missing too late, Gavriel. If you had said that word ten years ago, I might have believed it immediately," Queeneira said in a piercing tone, making Gavriel gasp to feel if this was really his fault.

"I know, I was wrong. But Quee-

"If you know you are wrong, why didn't you try something for a moment to contact me, share the news with me even if it's only 1 minute out of your 24 hours?" interrupted Queene still with a sharp tone, making Gavriel stare blankly at Queeneira who looked at him with teary eyes, disappointed.

"At that time there was a lot of work and tasks that I had to do and complete," Gavriel explained in a patient tone, masking another reality as he felt, if Queene didn't need to know all about him and what happened to him a few years ago, when he was there.

"Just sending a message that didn't take 20 seconds, nor can it, like that," Queene said in a tone of amazement, not really thinking.

"Queene, listen to me-

"Why should I listen to you? You should listen to me. Listen to this, don't ever come to see me again, unless you are aware of what mistakes you have made. the power to destroy people's company, so typical of you, I don't recognize the current you. Gavriel."

"Queene, I can-

"There's nothing more to explain."

Again Queeneira interrupted the sentence that Gavriel was about to say, so Gavriel almost let out a frustrated breath but held it in.

"Ok, I'll take you home," Gavriel relented, feeling that Queene was still too emotional at this point and it would be very dangerous if she also got emotional. He also realized that their discussion was too sensitive.

There were too many eyes and ears around him and he didn't want this matter to be heard by people who didn't know what the real problem was.

"I can go home alone," Queeneira refused firmly.

"No, El already said that you would come home with me," said Gavriel more firmly, looking at Queeneira with undeniable eyes.

"But I refused."

"And I don't like being rejected."

"I'll order a taxi-

"Go ahead, Queene. But as you know, dare you do that, don't blame me If-

"You can't, Gavriel. Just don't use power to threaten me just once?" Queene hissed with an angry expression on her face.

Her heart was afraid, if again because of her actions other people would be hit by the sap.

"No, because that's the rule, Queene."

Looking at Gavriel in disbelief, Queene turned her face to the side in annoyance, even her breathing was irregular as she held back her anger.

"Quee-

"Talk to my hand," interrupted Queeneira then quickly stood up from her seat and left Gavriel, who chuckled to himself at witnessing the fierce resistance of Queeneira who was so brave to him.

Really looks like a tigress, Gavriel thought. with mixed feelings.

He quickly followed Queene who was far away towards the exit there, with a silent code to one of the maids, the maid nodded and let her go.

Outside Queeneira was walking towards the highway, was about to stop a taxi and when her hand swung stopped a passing taxi, from behind there was Gavriel who caught up first, turned and hugged Queeneira tightly.

Grip!

Ckitt!

A taxi stopped in front of them, with the car window down slowly, revealing a middle aged man sticking his head out, looking awkwardly at Gavriel, as Gavriel was holding Queeneira's resistance in his arms.

"Sir! So it's not a taxi?" asked the taxi driver.

"Hn. No, my wife is angry with me sir. So she wants to go home alone," Gavriel replied with an uncomfortable smile, he pressed Queene's face into his chest, so that Queene's voice was muffled and inaudible.

"Oh! Yes, it's okay and don't be angry for long, it's not good, it's a sin," advised the taxi driver, misunderstanding what he saw.

"Hn. Of course, Sir," said Gavriel with a low nod of his head.

Finally the taxi drove away from Gavriel and Queeneira, with Queeneira stomping on Gavriel's feet, causing Gavriel to slightly hurt and lift his leg, then stomping on the ground as a pain reliever.

Ouch!

"Honey, this hurts," said Gavriel with an annoyed face, he thickened his face when Queeneira glared fiercely at him.

"Damn you! I want to go home, Gavriel. Why do you even make my taxi just go away and what are you doing, claiming that I am your wife. You're drunk," spat Queeneira with one breath, making Gavriel laugh when he remembered Mommy's behavior, if he was annoyed with his Daddy it would be like this.

Ha-ha-ha

"Why laugh, it's not funny, Gavriel!" Queeneira snapped, annoyed.

"We'd better go home and I'll take you," Gavriel decided instead of answering Queeneira's annoyed question.

"No, I'm going home alone."

"Don't be stubborn, Queene," Gavriel hissed in a cold tone, even as he was staring at her. Queene sharply made Queene freeze, then followed along as Gavriel gently dragged her and walked towards her parked car.

Gavriel opened the front passenger door, then sat Queeneira who was just quietly silent, fastened her seat belt and then gently stroked Queeneira's temple.

"I'll take you home and we'll talk about this again," whispered Gavriel then closed the door, without waiting for an answer from Queeneira, who was only silent when she felt gentle strokes on his temples.

Gavriel why are you different, as if I don't recognize anymore, Queeneira thought sadly, staring out the window with bloodshot eyes.

Creak!

Entering the car quickly, Gavriel took the time to look at Queeneira whose face was facing the window, then with a small sigh he sat comfortably in the driver's seat, glancing once again before deciding to start the car engine.

Why are you fighting me again, Queeneira, Gavriel thought, deciding to focus on the road in front of him.
