Chapter 133 - The King of the Sea

The hole Lucifer had created was on the other end of the island. The group flew among the treetops and past the verdant slopes back to the village. When they landed, there was nobody. Judging from how items and tools were strewn all over, the inhabitants must have fled in a hurry. 

"Where… where is everybody?" Lifen asked, looking around. 

Bahlam hurried down the main road, screeching. After pausing to listen, the Kelpie cried again, slightly more frantic. When he turned around, the group could see he was just as confused. They hadn't been gone for so long, had they? 

"I see much has changed," Saraquel said as he scanned the vicinity. "There used to be barely any trees back then."

"You can marvel at the changes at a later time, we need to find out what happened," Lucifer grunted, summoning her sword.
