Following the noise, the three stumbled upon an intersection with Kelpie corpses. Following the trail of blood, they arrived at a corridor with an opened hatch to the outside.
Or rather, a hatch that had been forcefully ripped from its fixture. Noboru looked out into the night sky, however, his view was soon obstructed by the face of a Kelpie. It hissed at him before taking on Alric's face. The Tengu was about to stab it when its hair was set on fire. The Kelpie screamed, jumping back into the water. Noboru turned around to see Zan's tattoo glowing.
"Nobody copies our Alpha," he angrily said. The fox next to him chuckled.
"I concur," Noboru said. "Even as an enemy, he was hard to dislike."
"Let's continue," Rin said, nodding her head in a direction.
"I'll stay here to prevent more from coming in." The wolf cast a spell, weaving a barrier into the opened hatch.
Rin hesitated. The Tengu looked around.
