Toshi knew the building like the back of his hand. After following the fox through the labyrinth, they finally arrived at the main foyer with the elevators. Their journey upward was interrupted on the third floor when a couple unexpectedly joined them.
"Oh, you are joining us as well?" The fox looked at them, surprised.
The girl merely nodded in approval.
As the ascent continued, Alric could not help but notice a familiar air around them. He stared more closely at the girl until she copped on and awkwardly turned away, placing her hand on her slightly protruding belly.
"Taking notes?" The guy jeered. It was then that Alric finally understood who he was dealing with.
