Chapter 38 - Fear and Identity

In the eyes of Natalie...

"Did you take your time to let that sink into your head there Miss Lightning. That your job there is to maintain the important fragile payloads that are roaming around that building that you call yourself a School. They are your responsibility are you letting your students be molded into killing machines once Null does the inevitable.

Miss Lightning what do you wanna see on your students. Do you wanna see them in body bags or the ones who are bringing body bags? Do you want to see your precious students with their hands armed with rifles? Seeing them with their lifeless eyes those despair driven gun toting soldiers who are born and raised to be soldiers.

Do you think you're in the actual right here Miss Lightning? If you're thinking I would threaten you by attacking the school you love and the students you teach? No, you did that yourself. It's your own decision to join them. And the Organization finally identifies that I'm a threat to them, mission accomplished.

I've made the biggest PMC company in the world fear a single man that is me. You could try to hunt me down but you can never find me, I'm already steps ahead of everyone. This is your first and maybe last audio tape you'll be getting from me. If you are disappointed you should be I'm not making anymore hesitations I will finish my prototype and your sword won't even touch me. But I'm not here to provoke you this is actually just a wake-up call for you Miss Lightning.

Be careful what you say and how you tell people your intel. The Organization is a sick company to the core. The once nice people you might know in the Organization is probably dead by now. Don't become too comfortable or they will kill you off. This is Dealer out." And the tape started to melt after that playback.

"Just who are you Dealer?" As I said that to myself while I took my time to collect my thoughts from the realization. I don't really get it what Dealer was saying about my children... And what the school's true intention after we took over. What is he implying about the children are becoming killing machines.

It's true that I'm a bit ignorant since I was lucky to be raised in a proper school for combat. But I don't know the situation of those Child Soldiers. And I wouldn't expect it to be good but why is he implying that a highly prestigious school will become like that. I know they're only using it as leverage to protect the Organization and as blackmail to any witnesses.

I do fear that it may lead into that if the Organization becomes very desperate. I was lured into joining into the Organization and was forced by Null to follow orders. I don't have anything to bring into the table until I found out their plans on unifying the war economy into a streamline system. And Dealer seems to know more about the Organization's true intentions. For now I'll keep on searching for Dealer.

Back to Vaughn's perspective...

Now that's taken care of, she's probably gonna continue searching for me. Message sent and a question served. Will she continue to trust the Organization. Probably will, perhaps that's because of the blackmail she is a worry wart on her own students as well. I know I am, it's natural to be worrying about your student's well being.

With my rebellion slowly taking its course let's not get hasty and try not to make any mistakes. I'm still handling here one of the biggest markets in the world without the world knowing my identity. Gang wars started to pop up again, civil wars started cracking down once again, private militaries armed themselves with guns that both sides use.

I gave Natalie food for thought, I've given the kids an up to speed on the current state of the world. The school hasn't been a hostile place yet which is nice but it seems like the students are more stiff than before. And its disturbing seeing the kids becoming spineless empty shells when under strict security regulations.

I guess I have to kill more agents of the Organization to send a message again. Well then off to work out the kinks of this armor while I'm at it. Off to another week of business, school, and boring stuff. I'm not saying teaching is boring per say I actually like it but having the kids held at gunpoint being taught isn't what I like.

Previously loud and talkative students became dead silent after the reformation of the school. I can't believe they're doing this. But I have to worry about the bigger problem for now while I'm at it. We can't have a peaceful teaching environment without any sacrifices.

I left my apartment already camouflaged to begin my assault on random Organization agents. Time to begin our third outsider to disrupt the Organization, the Rayleigh Ripper. Time to try out Inferno for a test slice.

The Organization Agents are plentiful in the city I'll lure them in an alley and begin the spree. Some of them are easy to lure, some aren't, some can't hear me for some reason. The way I'll lure them is pretty simple make a suspicious noise on a alleyway and then strike them. Sounds easy in theory, some are ignorant of the weird noises but some will be suspicious about it to the point they could call in back up.

Which is not what I want since its annoying to execute this when there's a lot of witnesses. Our first victims, I drop a loud can and a knife to make an unusual sound. Seems like I lured in two agents, they're coming around the corner doing their normal scans and a standard procedure of making sure a suspicious figure isn't escaping that easy.

But since the camo works that well. I'll mess with them.

"Hey you two, have you ever seen a ghost before?" Whispering behind them while invisible. The two quickly turned around and to check where that voice came from behind.

"Are you two afraid of the dark?" As I slowly disable my active camo behind them and said. "Because there's a saying goes going to a dark alley is dangerous and you were at a bad time to visit the alley."

They quickly turned around as I quickly slice through across their lower torso, then across their necks, then both of their arms. "They're should be dead by that." A bit overkill but that's sending a message in my opinion. Then I splatter the blood from my blade to form a circle around them. I'm hungry for more...

Time to hunt down more agents.
