Chapter 40 - Mindless Madness

Sit rep... I asked Anna to join us to keep my other businesses in check. Knowing I'm now more busy than before we still haven't heard any news between Cedric and Maestro. After wiretapping the meeting of the Organization we know that they're gonna weaponize the children now due to my decision of provoking of war.

It is inevitable since they're getting desperate as days goes by and the pile of dead bodies rack up from our operation. Smoking has become a habit of mine again after 10 years. And my students kept in touch with me about the situation at school. From interrogating agents about the plans of the Organization teaching those kids violence by hardwired learning directly to their brains rewriting their cognitive rhythm only consisting of violence and madness.

As a victim of that myself. I finally remembered Null was just an evolution of a PMC company that used to do this at a mass scale named. Black Forest, a PMC company located in the deep forests of the German landscape. They know how to manufacture killing machines by using children ages below 10 years old by exposing them early on to massive amounts of violence and hardwire teaching techniques by removing some aspects of human emotion.

By the time they're 5 they get their physical training if you accel in the training field you could be deployed as early as 6 years old as a black-ops soldier. Me on the other hand was deployed at the age of 8. After the period of testing out in the field and surviving tours on our own. We would be transferred to a weapons auction we're considered living weapons.

Being bought by the highest bidder to become either their personal bodyguard, personal clean-up crew, personal soldier, or a toy for their war crimes. Either way we'll just be used and Null is the successor of the Black Forest company. Anna looked up the documents and there I was, I found my young self looking mindless, selfless, a kid without anything better to do.

And now they're doing it to teenagers which is a different, probably they're build different due to them being a bit more developed especially for combat. I'm not proud of being a top student of that class. I became a top student of that class because we had to everyone had to do their best their or else you'll die in the elimination exams by to succeed you have to kill your designated rival.

"Seems like you're dozing off there Vaughn. You okay?" Said Anna as she hands me coffee.

"No, I'm fine I was just thinking off the past."

"You mean during your time at Black Forest?" Said Anna as she sips her coffee.

"Yes, I can't believe Null took over Black Forest's work and become their own manufacturer of child soldiers."

"Well things happen and certainly people had come and go now its been more than 2 decades now since you've graduated that hellhole of a school." Said Anna.

"Well we have a war to take care off and sitting here ain't gonna help anything or anyone out." As I stood up from the bench seat by the rooftop of an abandoned building.

"Oh yeah, Vaughn I finished some of the arms deals for the week the money should roll in by now." Said Anna as she looks back to me.

"Thanks for your work out there Anna big help."

"Just doing my part here Vaughn don't worry about the smaller stuff." Said Anna as I head back downstairs.

While I'm downstairs I've been checking around, and asking around info brokers about the current state of the Organization.

'Oh, them? They've become such a huge mess after the appearance of Dealer and now another one recently popped up named Ripper.'

'I'm surprised they're the biggest PMC company in the world and yet they're losing to a nobody.'

'I've heard they're relaunching the manufacturing division of the debunked Black Forest Company those people are messed up to the core I tell you.'

'The matter the fact that a single person let alone a single arms dealer would influence the biggest PMC in the world is surprising and does raises an eyebrow on how important that single person is. Dealer was his name right? Yeah, quite surprised that they would flinch at the existence of a small arms dealer who are selling better goods than the well established company.'

'Some say they're halting a lot of their departments to collect as much manpower to end those two targets of theirs. Talk about desperation right?'

Seems like they have their sides on the information industry. Good to know that this is spreading like wildfire its not been easy to go through everything certainly not cheap as well. Information is a powerful tool, and knowledge is power after all.

They'll be conducting the first experiments on the children... I can't save them all, sacrifices must be done I have to see it for myself if the children is savable or not. I still remember the person who saved me from the hardwire protocols engraved in my brain though its still there the hunger for violence and war is still lingering and I can't escape that since I grew up with it.

"Vaughn you researching the Info brokers?" Said Anna as she enters the room from the rooftop.

"Yeah, I'm just checking how the public is taking in the current situation of the Organization."

"I see they're taking it well surprisingly. Those who are in the industry are expecting it and wanted someone to take down the ever so powerful Organization from their throne. Some support the Organization, some don't, some are neutral of the situation and just want a more competitive industry. What do you think of the situation now that you've placed your influence with your other characters?" Said Anna as she hugs me from the back clinging on.

"Well, one is that I've expected the outcome of my own actions, anticipating the results is what I do best after all. Secondly they've become more vulnerable than ever before so it was easy now to derail them and make them fumble their problems and make a mess of it. Thirdly please stop clinging to me Anna."

"Oh, sorry about that." Said Anna as she lets go of me finally.

"Things are only gonna get complicated from this point now Anna we better be prepared for the worst." As I look at the wall of monitors seeing how many perspectives I have and how I've been watching the Organization's steps.
