The weeks passed in a whirlwind of activities. It was as though time was in cohorts with his father. Everything seemed to be moving too fast for his liking. How could he come up with a plan to solve this latest conundrum when everything was happening in a blur? At the end, Kenny Okpabi could do nothing but go along with it all, however, not enthusiastically.
Wedding preparations swirled around the very passive Kenny Okpabi. Invitations were given out. The catering company was notified - a prestigious one, of course. Mr. Okpabi was sparing no cost for his son's wedding.
As usual, he was being ostentatious in his plans. His friends were to be in attendance and the location was at Ikom, his home town. All the guests had to drive down and buses were available for those who had no cars. It was going to be a great, big Nigerian wedding, set to stun the occupants of the small village of Ikom.
