Nathan
Again, I almost did not show up for Max's shit. I wanted to be available to go get Tee whenever she was done with her event. But I recalled the debacle earlier in the day and decided not to break another promise. God only knows what Max would do to me this time around for missing his Christmas Eve party. Not that it bothered me anymore, any way. However, I would love to avoid any of his crazy antics, at least for now. I just needed to open up to my woman about my previous relationship and I will be cool.
Tee was a reasonable woman, I know she will understand the situation. I also needed to convince her of the genuiness of my love. When I had told her earlier, she had seemed stupefied. I could understand, since I had declared it out of the blues, with no warning. Nevertheless, I believe everything with Tee will be fine. I can feel it in my spirit, I thought as I beeped my car, locking it and approaching the hall where music streamed from.
