"How was the service?" I asked when we got into my car at a few minutes to ten am.
"I enjoyed it," she smiled at me, her expression sincere.
"I know, I noticed you jotting down stuff in your note app," I joked, turning the ignition and joining the queue driving out of the premises.
Tee docked her head. "It resonated with me," she replied and I nodded.
"So, what would you like for breakfast," I asked amidst horns from other vehicles trying to reach the exit.
"Roadside akara wrapped in newspaper," she replied, a sort of longing overtaking her face.
My brows went up. That wasn't what I was expecting. Yet again, I needed to get used to expecting the unusual from this unique human. "Okay, that's pretty specific," I chuckled and she joined me.
"I'm suddenly craving that," she explained, coughing a little and looking away like she was ashamed. She better not be. She was being real with me and I liked that.
