It seemed unbelievable that Nathan would have looked for me while I was dying in shame and embarrassment at what we had done that night. I kept thinking he probably would not want anything to do with a woman that loose - I mean, what man would? But it had not stopped me from longing and hoping, and well, with the situation on ground, solidly deciding that I would use all avenues available to me to find him and deliver the grim news. Nevertheless, I am faced now with him saying he had looked for me. I could not believe it, hence the question with my eyes wide in amazement and confusion.
"Of course, I looked for you. I went after you that night but you disappeared."
