"Are you out of your mind?!" My mother's voice went a little bit higher, and the sound of it went broke because it's not usual for her to raise her tone.
"Why don't you ask your daughter of she's out of her mind?!" He shouted back, big hand still gripping hard on my hair.
I don't know which part I was in pain. My knees were being scratched on the ground, and my hair being pulled at the same time. There's also Emerald who is grasping for air because she was crying hard, or the thought that my mother was helplessly begging and started to fight for me.
All I know I was in pain.
