It was obvious from her face; the sign of disapproval. She was shaking her head, maybe still trying to struggle with the fact that I'm actually dealing with my father while he's drunk.
I know this doesn't feel right. It might be that he's only angry, and drunk, and he didn't mean to sell me and make me as a worker in the casino or what. Maybe he didn't mean any of it.
But I mean my actions for me to be acknowledge, for him to stop hating me. If this will be the only way, not beautiful, so be it. I've had enough. And I've been through so much experience. I'll just consider this as a stepping stone, I guess.
