BOOM!
A terrifying sound came from the outer walls of the castle.
The entire party went silent, wondering what was happening.
Chatter and murmurs gradually became loud again.
Suddenly Everyone's eyes widened, even the gods'.
This pressure...
This heavy aura...
'Diana?'
The god of light, Aither turned to look at Shiro.
'Did she, grow once again?'
Their eyes could say it all.
'Cayn's doing again?
Even turned their heads in one direction.
The hall's doors opened with a butler walking in.
"Her royal highness, Diana, and her husband, his royal highness Cain, are here."
Raist's eyebrows twitched.
'Why was Diana announced before her husband?'
The answer soon laid before his widened eyes.
No one dared utter a word.
Rather, they were all captivated.
Their pupils dilated, and their breaths were taken away.
The sounds of her high heels were heard across the room.
A long black dress with red diamonds embroidery, close-fitting around her long legs, curvy with her haunches, tight around her small waist, open on top of her bosom, showing the attractive lines of her collarbones, her seductive neck with a black jewelry choker, attached with strings of red gems to her shoulder capes, the two of them were of black silk, each from her shoulder to the ground, leaving a majestic trail as she walked.
Diana's hair had become even darker than brown, and her light-toned skin and natural pink lips matched the fierceness of her red eyes and jewelry.
She was walking as if she was the devilish queen herself, but with such grace and grandeur.
This wasn't the kind of beauty they were expecting.
No, this was the kind of beauty that sucked you in, that took you by the throat, that made you savor and gulp your saliva, daydreaming of even talking to her. The kind of beauty that crushed you, gender didn't matter.
She didn't need to show skin. She didn't need to wear tight clothes. Her sharp eyes and well-drawn cheekbone, her captivating allure, her amorous figure, everything about her was the definition of erotic.
But who could have thought this irresistible side of her, could also be so distinguished, so dignified, so untouchable, and so imposing...
Everyone was bewitched by her, captivated by the mere sight of her, everything about her, even her hands wearing embroidered black gloves, holding into the arm of the man next to her.
Raist almost let go of his drink.
His surprise didn't stop there.
A person bowed to her, starting a chain of the people at the party doing the same.
He watched, as even the gods did the same, even when some didn't mean to. They didn't feel themselves doing such actions.
Raist couldn't take his eyes off her.
The more her heels gradually resounded in the more the harder it was for him to control himself, until, he bowed.
His eyes were in shock.
It was only when the heels' sound stopped pressing on his heart, that he was back to himself.
Noticing what he was doing, he clenched his teeth. His eyes were filled with murderous intent.
He raised his head in a hurry, looking around seeing that nobody saw him.
He straightened his clothes with a little cough, only for his eyes to fall on Cassis, on the other side of the hall, with his hands on Ella's waist.
Cassis was smiling, so vividly at him, as he raised his glass to him.
Raist had a vein appear on his forehead with how enraged he was.
He turned to look at Diana again, his fingers tightening around his glass of wine.
He was focused on her, as she bowed her head slightly to Amina.
Then suddenly his eyes fell on the man next to her, who bowed his back to kiss Amina's hand.
Cayn, tall and with a big build, was wearing a black suit matching Diana's red embroidery with his own.
"So it's him," growled Raist in a quiet voice.
To his surprise, Cayn turned his cold eyes slightly, meeting Raist's, who was struck in motion.
'He heard me?'
Raist didn't know why but he couldn't maintain eye contact.
He looked away a few times.
But every time he looked back he found Cayn still staring him down, with that cold and calm gaze of his.
As they were meeting eyes Diana suddenly spoke with Cayn, which finally made him turn away.
"Cayn? Are you okay?" Asked Diana as she saw he didn't talk much in front of his mother and siblings.
Cayn's calm eyes looked deeply at her. "Yeah."
Diana kept meeting his eyes without saying a word, but he had looked away.
Raist coughed slightly as if he was relieved. Noticing what he did again he grew mad.
'First, that bitch? Now him?'
He raised his head, only to find Cayn staring at him again, colder than before.
Diana was trying to follow her man's line of sight, but for some reason, she wasn't able to pick up anything.
Cassis walked up to them with Ella.
"Ehem, sister," he said with a smile.
Ella hurriedly held Diana's hand. "We have a lot to talk about, hmm?"
Diana let out a smile, "Yes we do," she said as she was taken by Ella away, looking back at Cayn with a little worry.
Cassis' figure hid him from her sight, but this bad feeling still kept growing in her heart.
Suddenly something clicked in her head. "You took me away on purpose," she said as she stopped.
Ella let out a smile. "It seems like my husband wants to have a talk with yours."
Diana turned to look at them for a moment before shaking her head.
Cassis was looking silently at Cayn, who was a head taller than him, noticing that some of his facial features had changed, especially with the beard and his eyes.
"Since you are looking in his direction I am guessing she told you?"
"Not yet," said Cayn while staring at Raist.
Cassis met Raist's eyes too and winked at him.
Raist this time decided to turn away, trying not to mind them, clenching his teeth so hard as if he wanted them to break.
"Then, how do you know?" Cassis was confused.
"I have my ways." Cayn's eyes turned to look at him. "Good idea not letting him leave."
'How...' Cassis was utterly puzzled about how he found out barely a few moments after he came here.
"Don't ask too much." Cayn raised a glass and took a sip. "It seems he is planning on making his move before you," as he stared at the wine.
Cassis turned his head around. Raist wasn't in his spot anymore. He started looking around, and there he was, making his way toward Diana and his wife.
Just as he was about to walk to them, Cayn's imposing voice rang in his ear. "Do I have to remind you again?"
Cassis's eyes widened, reminiscing what happened last time with the Sylvia prince
He sighed, "It seems like this overprotective side of me is still there, I apologize," he said as he looked at Cayn.
"It's okay. I know it is different this time. But the women can still take care of themselves." Cayn drank the whole glass in a breath.
Cassis noticed as Cayn's hands were slowly filled with veins. A light dark air flowed from his body, but no one else noticed.
"It's different, this time." Said Cayn angrily. "You just have to be patient for your turn," he growled.
Cassis' eyes widened. This was the first time he saw Cayn this enraged.
'He knows.'
