Gods have ranks.
And even on top of those, reined even powerful supreme beings.
Born with unfathomable power and abilities.
Untouchable by the laws that bound the universe and its timeline.
They were called the creator gods. True immortals couldn't die unless under one condition.
The first generation of creation.
The first, life.
With their powers, they created space and its components.
They reined above all.
And each off made use of his unique traits and took upon himself a purpose, a responsibility to carry.
But with time their will began to crumble.
And they, who thought they were beings far above virtue and sin, sooner or later, started acting like mortals.
Greed, lust, pride, and gluttony took over their hearts.
The worlds' they watched over soon were affected.
Now they fought for territory.
Now they blackmailed and went for each other's throat.
but that was all before Cayn made an appearance.
Someone who was nothing more than a new solder the primordial wisdom picked from one of the worlds' he neglected, because of the never-ending fights with the others of his kind.
Nothing, but a mortal soldier.
But soon his name was sung on the battlefields.
Soon enough his steps brought fear upon who those who heard of his coming.
A man, that brought endless blood into the land.
A merciless killer.
Even being levitated as an angel his wings were black, and more often than not, always soaked in blood.
The angel of destruction.
The angel of the end.
Those were but a few of his nicknames.
All because of his devastating martial arts.
Of his destructive sword and spear.
The man was soon sought after by the primordial death and war.
A creator god who named himself over his endless bloodlust and urge to fight.
Cayn naturally caught his eyes.
But he was deaf to his calls.
Seeing as one of the strongest creator gods was rejected no one else could utter a word.
And his name kept roaring and gaining fame by bloodshed.
The primordial death and war seemed to already be starting something against the primordial wisdom.
He used this chance, to make Cayn, the enemy of all.
Cayn, a frightening creature, put a seed of anxiousness in all the creator gods' hearts.
If Cayn ascends as a creator god, he will be truly immortal and it will be harder to use that condition on him.
They still are surprised why the primordial wisdom didn't die even after all they did.
Little did they all know, that there was, an existence above them, that they were no more, than frogs in the well.
They all came here before it was too late.
Cayn till now hasn't shown the unique traits of a creator god, merely pure strength.
They still had a chance, some thought, especially having the primordial death with them.
One of his traits, getting stronger the more people die, and the more the fight kept going.
The least they could do is stall for time.
Half of the remaining army raised their weapons in front of them.
Raphael with his shaking hands, the primordial death clenching his teeth did the same.
All to prepare for the next hit.
Some already seemed to have lost their minds. But no one paid a mind to them.
The remaining became focused. Even if Cayn ascends. They still had the sword, the only sword that can slay a creator god.
Cayn's spear disappeared.
In the slowed time it stood a few meters from the eyes of a dragon look-alike.
It roared angrily.
The spear met its claws.
A huge explosion.
The dragon remained standing, with half its arm and its left-wing destroyed.
The primordial death had a smile on his face.
Yeah, they were only taken by surprise at first.
The spears weren't a threat anymore.
The army slowly regained its poster.
Cayn stood there calmly.
Calm.
Quiet.
The grins in the army grew bigger.
The primordial chaos and the primordial wisdom stood behind him.
And as they walked up to help their eyes fell upon Cayn's finger, signaling for them to stand down.
But this will be suicide.
This was, suicide.
The primordial wisdom still walked ahead.
Suddenly he was greeted with chills, as he met Cayn's eyes staring at him from the side.
Amir was left shaking.
This was the first time, he felt this small in front of this man.
No, he always did.
But now it became a certainty, that Cayn, is an entity he will never reach.
From his eyes, only from those eyes, Amir stood down.
Cayn's eyes fell again on the army.
Yeah, they were smiling, they had hope.
Cayn, suddenly smiled.
"Yes, that was it."
A true villain who fed on their despair.
Yes, they had to have hope before he crushes their everything.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Cayn's smirk struck the army's faces.
Dark energy clothed his body.
He started laughing like a madman.
No, he was the, madman.
Cayn is the villain.
Cayn is the true evil.
"Yes... yes, that's it..."
Millions of spears appeared above his head.
Cayn kept laughing.
The army's eyes rose.
A huge mythical bird, a creator god of gorgeous beauty and a massive body bigger than galaxies ran towards Cayn.
Its claws were bigger than Cayn.
It shrieked as at it went for him in a hurry.
A few mythical creatures followed.
Giants. Dragons. And all those who stood between them and human-like gods.
Everyone went for Cayn's head.
But he kept laughing on his own.
A few meters from the first pair of claws.
Time stopped.
Or that's what it seemed like to everyone flying.
Then, blood.
They all stopped in their tracks.
Their eyes widened.
Cayn's body was soaked in blood.
His hand and hair covered half his face.
He laughed harder.
His other hand held the leg of the decapitated bird.
"Nooo.. NOOO.. come for me.. you can Win. You can kill me. so don't stop! DON'T STOP! TRY YOUR BEST HAHAHAHAHA!"
Cayn's looked more bloodthirsty than a demon.
"HURRY UP BEFORE THESE SPEARS FALL! OR IT WON"T BE FUN! HURRY BEFORE YOU DIE!"
Kept screaming Cayn with a painful voice as if he didn't wish for them to die.
The primordial death finally had enough and roared.
His entire body rose as he was englobed with dark energy.
As it disappeared a dark armor was placed on his body.
He raised his hand and all the dead gods stood back on their feet.
But their eyes were soulless.
Yet their power remained.
The army rose again.
The dead bodies flew towards Cayn.
The primordial death held his spear high and threw it towards him..
A speed faster than light.
The spear flew to Cayn's bloody golden eyes and terrifying smile.
Boom.
Smoke was everywhere.
But soon Cayn's figure appeared holding the spear a few millimeters from his eye.
His smile still stuck on his face, because the primordial death was already next to him with another spear in his hand.
That was merely a distraction.
Cayn used that spear to stop him.
Clashing together resulting in a huge wave pushing everyone away.
The primordial death flew back.
The dead bodies pulled up around Cayn.
His eyes were still on death that flew above.
With a smile, his body disappeared amidst the bodies.
The primordial death crushed his hand.
The bodies blew up.
He turned to the others as he couldn't distinguish Cayn's presence in between the smokes.
"IT'S A DO OR FUCKING DIE SO GET YOUR BALLS AND STAND UP ALREADY!"
He raised his spear ready to send it again knowing full well Cayn wouldn't die from something like that.
The other gods finally put their powers to use.
Screamed and unleashed beams, spells, and anything of the sort towards the smoke.
He stared at them disappointed.
They were truly useless.
After all, that was why he ruled over them behind the scenes.
His eyes fell on Ayaka with the others left a few light years away.
A figure suddenly appeared in front of him.
"What you staring at Sura?"
Cayn with a bloody smile.
"You look over there one more time and I will stop having fun. Kill all of you. Got that?" Continued Cayn.
"SHUT U-" Sura slashed with his spear.
Cayn stopped it with the same spear again.
Sura flew back and crushed his hand, for his weapon to self-destruct in Cayn's hand.
It didn't even phase him.
Cayn walked out of the smoke.
"Yes, give me a good fight. But before that," his eyes fell on the remaining army.
"I need a weapon," he spoke coldly as he smirked.
An intense bloodlust surged from his body.
Sura hurriedly flew away.
Cayn raised his hand high.
His palm facing up.
Slowly, clutched his fingers.
A black hilt started forming in his grip.
A sword started taking shape.
A dark katana.
Made from unknown dark metal.
It resonated in space.
It kept screaming as if it was an energy saber.
Slowly.
The atmosphere changed.
Cayn's body flew up.
His wings opened in a strong might.
"Oh wait, forgot about the spears."
"NO!" Screamed Sura and the others.
The spears fell.
It was, painful, staring at the dark sky.
A sky in space.
As if it wasn't dark already.
No one could see the spears anymore.
Utter darkness.
Their neck hurt and their bodies felt heavy.
They could no longer hear what happened around them. As if their bodies fell into the abyss.
Calm.
Quiet.
Their eyesight slowly got dark and blinded.
Yes, it was quiet.
And slowly, gradually, screams and cries fell on their ears.
The sounds grew louder.
And louder.
And louder.
As if it was done on purpose to wake them up.
Their eyes finally came back to them.
There was no peace.
There was no calm.
There was, no quiet.
Decapitated bodies.
Limbs.
Heads with ugly expressions.
All flying in space.
And the spears kept falling.
More were cut.
More came back to their senses.
There was no escape.
Was this even fair?
The thought that they used an entire army to stand against this man never occurred to them now.
Standing in the middle of their closed ones' limbs flying.
Their faces and eyes grew dim.
Their legs gave up on them.
Their energy did too.
They fell quietly.
Waiting for their deaths.
Then it came.
The spear, pierced them and left no one behind.
As soon as its edge fell on their bodies.
Their expression changed.
This, wasn't an easy death.
This wasn't, what they expected.
Pain.
No.
More.
It hurt even more.
WHY?
WHY DID A SPEAR HURT THIS MUCH?
WHY WERE THEY STILL ALIVE WHILE THEIR BODIES WERE PIERCED?
WHY?
Their expression suddenly changed from awaiting their deaths, to an extremely painful face. They howled in pain.
Their bodies curled up and their eyes cried uncomfortably till they bled blood with this unstoppable pain.
They bit their teeth until they broke.
They screamed until their vocals were cut.
Until there was no sound.
Their mind broke.
Their bodies shook and danced like a butchered sheep whose body still tried to subdue the pain of its head cut off.
Their limbs moved uncomfortably with their reflexes to the extreme pain.
Yes.
That was the reason.
And that wasn't the end.
Because they had more reasons.
As more, and more, spears fell on their bodies.
Raphael, Sura, and three other gods watched this scene.
They could feel their hearts break.
They were again, left on purpose.
Cayn's laugh didn't make it any easier.
He was laughing hysterically at the sight of the bloodshed.
At the songs of howling pain and screaming.
He was truly having fun.
The battlefield slowly calmed down.
The silence grew scarier than whatever filled it before.
Utter silence, other than Cayn's laughter slowly getting quiet.
He caught his breath.
"HAAHAHAHAHAHaaahaaahaaaaa, well that was fun."
Sura lost it.
"You are SICK! YOU CRAZY FUCK!"
Cayn giggled. "Oh! Oh yes, I am."
"Yesss," Cayn's voice grew cold, his smile disappeared, "I am."
His eyelids fell halfway on his eyes.
A bloody stare.
"Sura, Ajan, Ursy, Odomon, and lastly, Raphael."
Cayn's dark katana screamed louder.
The spacetime wrapped around him.
He became the center of gravity.
He became the weight of the universe.
He walked up with eyes staring at his hand.
"I have a personal debt, that I would be collecting myself."
His eyes rose to meet theirs.
It became pitch black.
There was no light emitting from his pupils.
The abyss, finally stared back.
