A little earlier that morning after Eddy left his parent's house, he drove around aimlessly for a while. Before he realised it, he had been parked outside Amanda's apartment for almost an hour, hesitating about what he wanted to do. He finally mustered the courage and left the car. He walked up the stairs he had traversed countless times and wondered why he had never noticed its steepness.
His thoughts clearly on one thing, "I must right the wrong done!"
He had expected only Amanda to be home, but Tasha opened the door for him and the disdain on her face was very glaring as she made no effort to mask her facial expressions.
He walked boldly in, even as his confidence wavered a bit, but he made sure that it did not show at all; he knew deep down that this was the right thing to do for himself. He even brushed Tasha aside when he thought that she had stayed a little too long in the path.
