"We still have a lot of time before our class, I'll drive you home to get change, or do you want to rest?" It seems like nothing happened between us earlier in the way he interact with me. So I decided to let it go.
"Can I skip today? I'm sorry. I'm not feeling well. I don't think I can focus on the lessons this afternoon"
"Okay. I'll drive you home. Let's go to the parking lot." We entered his car and he drive quite fast we arrived quickly at my home.
"No need to open up for me, I'll get down on my own. You still need to go back to school." I said while getting off the car. He just looked at me then he smile.
"Okay. Let's talk later. You should go now. Take a bath immediately so you will not get sick. I love you" He respond then drifted off. I took out my phone and texted him to be careful.
I entered my house and went directly to the bathroom to take a bath. While soaking in the bathtub I saw the mark of Charlotte's nail on my arm. I didn't tell Xander about it because I don't want to be called dramatic. It's just a bit mark and a little scratch.
I am thinking of what happened earlier. I admit that Charlotte and I argue a lot but it is the first time she did that. What would happen if Xander didn't get in time. I will be embarrassed in front of those crowds. I just want a peaceful life but I guess it won't be anymore because of the conversation I had with Charlotte. Maybe it is my fault that I got drenched with water. Every time Charlotte picks a fight with me I always stay silent, I pretend that I listen to her but I am not.
Today, it's my first time talking back to her and maybe that's the reason why she gets more irritated with me. I should have stayed silent. My mind earlier keeps thinking about how I can talk to Xander and maybe because she's with Xander this morning I unconsciously let my jealousy eat me. /facepalm/. I finished my bath and walk out of the bathroom.
I picked up my phone and sat on my bed I saw Xander's reply "I already arrived at school. Take care of yourself and take a rest. I love you."
" I love you too. I just finished my bath. I'm sorry I can't be with you. " I texted back.
After a few seconds, he called "Don't worry. Your health is more important. The class will start anytime soon. After practice, I'll buy you dinner. What do you want?"
" Anything with meat and veggies, is it okay for you to buy it for me?"
"Of course, it's my offering for what I did. I'm sorry for what I did."
"It's okay. I understand not all days are good days. Haha."
"It's almost time, I will visit you later. Take care of yourself. I love you"
"Okay okay. I love you too" then I hang up. I have nothing to do. I scroll through my phone then I saw Fonitalk. I uninstall it. It's not a good time for me to meet some friends and no one wants to talk to me either. I was so sleepy and exhausted so I decided to sleep my entire afternoon.
I woke up to the sound of my phone. Xander's calling me. I let out a sigh debating whether to pretend asleep or answer it. But seeing as that he was supposed to be at basketball practice right now, my curiosity got the best of me and answered his call
"Aren't you supposed to be at the court practicing?" I asked in a hoarse voice while taking a seat on the edge of my bed.
"I'm in the bathroom" he informed me.
"Okay, so what's so important that you had to take a fake bathroom break to call me?"
"I'm sorry. I got worried because you're not replying to my text I can't focus on practice so I decided to call you"
"I'm sorry, I fell asleep"
"It's okay. Hahaha and also I called you because I want to inform you that we will be having a friendly match with S University this Friday" I can hear the excitement in his voice. I couldn't help but laugh and roll my eyes. He can say it to me later but he inform me immediately.
"Okay okay, I understand so you can stop goofing around Alexander Hart"
"You'll watch the game this Friday right?"
" I wouldn't miss it" I promised.
"Great, I have to hang up now, I'll see you at dinner"
"Okay. Keep safe"
"I love you Akleigsha"
"And for some reason, I happen to love you too." And with that, I hung up. My sleepiness is already gone

Xander is here he gave me my bag. I almost forgot I didn't bring my bag home. I said thank you and we ate dinner together and he talks about what I missed in the afternoon class.
"Final Exam for this will be at the end of the month" I almost choke when he said that.
"Really? Great then. I think I should start to pray for my Physics grade"
"Are you having a hard time with physics? I can teach you." He said while smiling.
"Really? But no thanks. I know how busy you are and you have a lot of responsibilities I don't want to add to your worries"
"But you are one of my responsibility" I blushed
"It's okay, trust me I can manage," I said confidently to assure him but his gaze is still full of doubts. I laughed. Well, I understand him because I barely passed my midterm exam in Physics.
"Okay okay. I'll trust you" he said while smiling and with that, we finished our dinner. Xander went to my room while I cleaned up the table and put the plates and utensils in the sink then follow him.
"So I got you a present" we were sitting on the floor and physics books spread out in front of us. He insists that we will study physics tonight.
"A present?" I asked while raising my eyebrow and a smile spreading across my face.
"Well, okay let me explain," he said. "The guys with girlfriends on the team got their girls jerseys," he explained. "But I made yours a little special"
"You got me a jersey?" He reached for his backpack and handed me a wrapped present.
"You even wrapped it?" I asked laughing as I tore off the wrapping paper.
"Of course," He said proudly. "Would you expect nothing less?"
"Of course not babe" I looked at the jersey it was red and black, the colors of the team's away jerseys. The front had the name across it "The lions". On the back was Xander's number and across the top is Xander's girl.
"It's okay if you hate it" Xander added
"I don't, I think it's cute," I said with a smile.
"Promise?"
"I promise" I reach over and gave him a quick kiss on his cheeks. " Although I'm not sure if I want to match up with the girls"
"Don't worry, you are beautiful, be confident with yourself. But any way you want. The tops of their jerseys have the guys' last names"
"So you got mine personalized?" I asked placing my hand over my heart.
"Just for you"
I wrapped my arms around his neck giving him a real kiss this time. He pulled me into his lap and I wrapped my legs around his waist. That was until Xander's phone ring.
I quickly separated from him, avoiding eye contact with him. I'm too shy to face him.
"I'll just answer it, real quick," Xander said before leaving my room. After a minute Xander came back. He looked at me then smiled.
"That's our first kiss together," I thought I had already calmed myself but I didn't I feel that my face is starting to heat up again.
"Shut up," I said shyly.
"Where you that shy that you're the one who kissed me, the first babe?" Xander teases me while laughing all over again. "Well because you can't look at me I'll just leave now" when he said that I looked at him quickly then he laugh again. I glared at him. "Okay, I'll stop now," he said while trying to refrain from laughing. When he calms down. "Hey babe, I need to go now, something came up in the main house and I need to go there now," Xander said. I looked at the clock it was already 8:00 PM and he still need to drive.
"Right now? Can you go tomorrow? Will you be okay?"
"Yes, I'll be okay. I can't go tomorrow. Mom said that I need to go today" He answered while picking up his books and placing them inside his bag.
"Okay, I understand" then we went out of my room and usher him out.
"Drive safely, Eyes on the road. You don't need to pick me up tomorrow. You go to school directly I know you need a rest. Take care I love you ."
"I love you too" He kissed my forehead then head into his car and drove away.
