Both Yamato and Admiral Justin were walking around the Blackstone station since everyone in the conference hall started talking about politics. Yamato remembered during her past life how annoying politicians almost shut down her space projects because they see it as "waste of money", "impossible to do", and many more.
They stopped in front of a window where the sun that Cadia is orbiting around can be seen, Admiral Justin walked away from the window to sit down on the bench facing the window, and Yamato did the same seconds later.
"I hope everyone will be fine while I'm not present in the conference." Justin said.
"I'm pretty sure everyone will be fine, Andromeda and Shinano are there to prevent anything that might cause some kind of riot or something like that." Yamato replied.
[Location: Inside the conference hall]
"WHAT DO WE WANT!?" Andromeda shouted as loudly as possible.
"BETTER RNG!!!!" Everyone replied loudly.
"WHEN DO WE WANT IT!?" Andromeda asked.
"NOW!!!"
"Why am I here?" Shinano asked herself.
[Location: Outside of the conference hall]
"Hmm? That's weird." Justin said.
"What's weird?" Yamato asked.
"I think I see some kind of bright red sparking light in the distance." Justin said.
Yamato looked out of the window to see the bright sparking light Admiral Justin described, she wondered what caused that sparkling red light then it hit her, that red light isn't something natural in space nor if that's something after a star going supernova thousand or million of years ago.
"Hubby, get down!" Yamato shouted.
She pushed the Admiral down on the floor as she realized that the bright red sparkling light was, in fact, a laser beam heading towards the fortress thousand of miles per seconds. Yamato's ship suddenly appeared out of nowhere with its wave motion shields at maximum power, the ship took the impact of the laser beam with ease, however, it had to sacrifice 61% of its power to effectively block the shot.
The power behind the laser beam was enough to cause violent vibration around the fortress causing the emergency alarms to go off, loud sirens filled the rooms, halls, and other places in the fortress. Lights switched from their natural color to blinking crimson red like color almost immediately, people inside rooms hid under strong surfaces like wooden or metal tables, chairs, and other places deemed safe enough.
It took around 3 minutes until the laser beam slowly faded away, and disappeared leaving the fortress, and the battleship that took the impact safe, and unharmed. Yamato, and Admiral Justin quickly stood back on their feet to analyze the situation.
"Son of a bitch! How the hell did the sirens manage to pass through the early alert satellites?! Fuck!" Justin shouted.
"Hubby, calm down. We need to go, and regroup with Shinano and Andromeda." Yamato said.
"Shit, you're right. Let's go!" Justin said.
[Location: Outside of the conference room]
Andromeda and Shinano helped people inside the conference room to evaluate with other shipgirls, quickly they alone managed to prevent a panic riot from happening, and effectively made the people inside move in an orderly manner to the exit routes of the room.
"Come on, don't push each other or I will throw you out of the fortress into the vacuum of space, myself." Shinano said, calmly.
"Come on, guys, don't make my aunt throw you out." Andromeda added.
As they continue instructing the evaluating people out of the conference room, Andromeda sees Yamato and Admiral Justin running towards him. She didn't hesitate to go and run towards them, specifically, towards Yamato. Andromeda hugged her mother tightly as Yamato returned the same gesture to her daughter, Andromeda didn't want to have her second, yet the same mother to leave her again.
Shinano quickly approached them, leaving the evaluation progress to the other shipgirls there.
"Sister, are you okay with the Admiral?" Shinano asked.
"Yeah, the blast was heading towards us, but luckily my ship was able to warp quickly and took the impact head on." Yamato replied.
"I thought you might leave me again!" Andromeda shouted in between Yamato's chest.
"Don't worry, Andromeda. I'm not leaving you." Yamato said.
"Shin, is everyone inside the conference room all safe? Even those annoying council members?" Justin asked.
"Yes, but some people received minor injuries." Shinano said.
"Good." Justin said.
"{Everyone, please be advised. I have traced where the laser beam from earlier came from. It was shot by an unknown class of siren super battleships; the ship in questioned is being protected by a large number of siren warships.}" Analyzer said through earpieces of the ground.
"Analyzer, I want the exact number of siren warships present, and more information about that unknown class of super battleships." Justin said.
"{Yes, admiral. Please give me a minute.}" Analyzer said.
[Location: Inside of the unknown siren super battleship]
Inside the bridge of the unknown class of siren super battleships, there's an extremely beautiful woman with almost snow-like skin, long silver hair, yellow eyes, and was wearing a tight black bodysuit. She was sitting down on the center of the bridge on a throne-like chair. The woman witnessed how the shot of her powerful weapon was easily blocked by Yamato's ship. It made her more interested than frustrated.
The screen panel showed a picture of Yamato's ship. The woman raised an eyebrow in curiosity since it was the first time seeing such a warship of the Space Force before, the woman stood up from her throne-like chair then snapped her fingers.
All of the siren warships in the area suddenly went into FTL as soon as the sound of the woman's snapping fingers was heard, leaving the system without a single trace left behind.
[Location: Blackstone Fortress]
"{Admiral, the siren fleet has left the system. I couldn't trace them.}" Analyzer said, out of nowhere.
Justin punched the steel walls of the fortress in frustration, Yamato went to help calm down her hubby before he does something stupid that will make him regret it later on.
"Calm down, hubby. We will get the warship that fired that laser beam at the Fortress." Yamato said in a gentle voice.
"Analyzer, did you manage to take a picture of the unknown super battleship?" Justin asked.
"{Yes sir, please go to the closet screen, I will send the picture there.}" Analyzer said.
Admiral Justin and Yamato find something kind of screen in their area then sees a screen that was advertising something, the two go there then the advertisement was cut to show the unknown super battleship. The ship looked like a triangle that had its long point extended more outward, its tower located further in the back where Justin assumed where the thrusters were. And finally, it had a large gap in the middle where Justin assumed the place where the laser beam was fired.
"What a strange looking ship, is this thing a new ship model for the sirens?" Justin asked, but received no response.
"[How is that possible? A modified Star Destroyer.]" Yamato thought.
