Chereads / Me And The Mafia King (BL) / Chapter 6 - Stalker

Chapter 6 - Stalker

It has been three days and I still couldn't forget the traumatizing experience.

Well, maybe part of it was my fault.

It's just that something took over my body that day and I couldn't think straight. A hidden lust conquered my sanity, forcing me to surrender myself in front of a bloodthirsty monster.

Well, the monster is actually that pervert: aka idol dude. Curse you Rowoon! Curse you...you two-faced devil! Your fans might think that you're such a gentleman, but I know your real face. You're a big crazy jerk! A maniac!

How could I let him do all those things to me!!? At this point, I really hate my life. I could even die from embarrassment. If only I could dig a hole underground and hide there forever.

I sighed while stepping out of the university doors, only to be met by a sudden rainstorm. It was as if somebody flipped on a switch. I swear it wasn't raining when my final lecture ended. But now, it was raining heavily and all the trees were swaying under the command of tyrant winds. The once blue sky was replaced by an angry grey one that had designs of bright lightning strikes spreading across it.

Oh well, what can I say? The cold rain matched my mood. It seems that even the sky was punishing me for my wrong behavior.

Swallowing another gloomy sigh, I started to jog down the steps and walked along the road, not bothered by the rain at all.

I didn't bring my umbrella so my only option was to bear up the coldness and wetness of the angry weather. College students walked past me, holding their pretty umbrellas. Some walked so cozily as couples, happy that it started to rain just because they could steal some romantic intimacy. They made me feel lonely. Oh well, screw romance. I'm fine being alone. Being alone is great! I think I would never fall in love and I don't even care!

My hair was already wet and my shirt was completely soaked with rainwater. Good thing my bag is waterproof. I tried to fight against the cold as I walked on the wet road. The sound of thunder rolled in my ears, startling me with each passing second. I fought to bear up the cold and fear so that I could only think of reaching my apartment quickly. That's right...all I wanted to do was to vent out my anger and sulk in my small apartment. Ah! Me and my poor lonely apartment.

"Excuse me," a strong masculine voice pulled me out of my dull thoughts. I turned around to look who it was out of the courtesy and politeness that I have. As I turned around, all I could see was a tall man dressed up all in black. He wore a long black trench coat, black shoes, black mask, and even had a huge black umbrella in his hand.

And his eyes...those sharp cold eyes pulled me into them, reminding me of a day filled with peach blossoms and the beautiful tattoo of a butterfly. I knew who it was with one single look. It was definitely him...the enigmatic stranger I encountered on the day at the park.

It was surprising how his image was engraved in my mind just because of the tension and fear I was experiencing that day.

The sudden realization of my dangerous situation woke me up with a jolt. I gasped and stepped back, fear crawling its way into my heart.

"Would you like to come under my umbrella?" the weird stranger asked. I don't know why but his voice sounded so familiar like I'd heard it from somewhere. His voice was so clear and familiar in my head but I couldn't quite match the familiarity with my memories. Was he someone I knew? It couldn't be. For all I know, he was a stalker!

He couldn't have magically appeared behind me with a very fine-looking umbrella in his hand. After that weird meeting at the park, and then this: him offering me his umbrella couldn't be a coincidence. He was onto something and I could feel it.

"No thank you," I said with a smile while preparing my feet to run if I see any signs of danger.

"Oh you will come..." he grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him, slamming our bodies together so furiously.

His hand grabbed my waist, making my face heat up with an uncontrollable blush.

"Please just let go of me." My voice was merely a whisper. My throat had gone dry and words didn't come out of my mouth. What was happening to me? This was bad. My current unfortunate moment felt so similar to one of my past terrifying experiences. My stupid meeting with that crazy idol. Why was I the target of such terrifying experiences? Why was I being the victim of toxic strangers? I bit my lip and closed my eyes.

"I dreamt of you. Did you forget about me already?" Utter shock and disbelief washed through me. That seductive voice, that strong gaze, the familiar sensation of his body against mine...Lee Rowoon. It had been him all along. Even at the park and even now, it was him. He was the weird stranger, the stalker, and the crazy idol. He was the nightmare that has come to life. My heart began to beat with panic and even my eyesight started to grow faint, causing me to feel dizzy and lightheaded.

As my mind was fighting to recover from the shock, his hand moved away from my waist and landed on my face, his fingers tracing my cheek very softly.

"Now then, shall we continue from where we left off?" he whispered lustfully.

Chills ran through my body as my heart sank into the cold depths of fear.
