As I appeared in the corridor, Uncle Stan used magic to kick me out of his room.
"Ria, where have you been?" I turned my head to find Izek still there. I thought he had left. "I was looking for you in your room, but you weren't there. You didn't go to that world again?"
I look down at my finger and hide my hand behind my back. "No, I was with Uncle Stan. He and I had a little talk."
"Oh, I see."
I nod my head. "I thought you left. I mean, it's not like I wanted you to leave. I mean...you have your knightly duties. I'm pretty sure you need to go back."
Izek chuckles. "No, I have time. Besides, I wanted to spend time with you."
My heart fluttered as my face heated. "Oh..."
"Ria," Gideon appeared and interrupted, which made me groan.
I just want a moment with Izek without interruptions.
"Yes, Gideon?" I say through gritted teeth.
