"Greetings to the Lord and the Lady," the young wizard said, bowing.
I was startled, wondering how he found out I was the Lady. Adonis certainly was not dumb enough to reveal my identity to a wizard.
Then my eyes fell on the map over the table. I turned to Xavier flatly only to find out his ripped shirt. My face flushed. Anyone could read what was going on here earlier.
"Lady Alessandra, it's late. You should return to the palace. I will ask Allen to escort you," Xavier said.
I violently shook my head, declining. "I can return alone, My Lord," I said, turning red as a beet. I did not want more people to think weird stuff.
"I can not allow you to—" Xavier couldn't finish his words as I sent him a burning glare, pouting.
Xavier probably realized why I was mad. He did not force me further, chuckling.
I came out of the room. I cursed myself as I came here to ask about the attacks. Instead, I was swayed by Xavier again. I bit my lower lip and paused outside the door.
