Chapter 44: Loving the mother I hate
Owen's POV
"What do you think? Dad took a bite and I am in a world of pain but that's beside the point, he took mom also. I just need you to stop the bleeding so I can go after them" Ari said, clutching his hand.
"Unless you have been transfused with magical unicorn blood I don't know about the possibility of you doing that, I think you have two minutes tops before you pass out. I will go after them and you concentrate on…not leaking" I said and stood up.
Ari tried to resist and he tried to stand up but his legs gave way and he found himself on the floor.
"On a second thought, I think we are going to go with your plan but Owen, do me a favor?"
"Don't kill Dad, I got it!" I said and took the arrows on the floor.
"No. If it's a decision between your life or Dad's…take the shot, little dude"
"But you don't want to be Alpha yet" I reminded him.
