Chereads / My Own Succubus / Chapter 51 - The Bossy Captain

Chapter 51 - The Bossy Captain

I didn't learn as much as I hoped, but I know where to find this strange being now. I'll have to come back when I'm not escorted, since I don't know what she can or cannot hear.

As I exited the room I was greeted by a new face, someone who didn't look too happy.

"About damn time." The girl says with a pissed off expression on her face.

"This is the captain of the division you're in, Captain Aziel." Vivian says while giving a small smirk.

This captain wore a hood that covered most of her bright orange colored hair, but it didn't take my attention away from the menacing red dragon like eyes that she had. Her outfit also seemed a bit different from what they gave us, but I'm not sure if it's because she's a captain or not.

"Nice to meet you, I'm K-" Before I could even say another word, she cut me off.

"I know who you are. Let's go already." She demands as she begins to walk away.

"Good luck." Vivian says as she pays me on the back.

Guess that's my que to follow my new captain, I really don't understand this shit.

"We've got a job already, so follow me." She says with a bit of attitude.

What is her damn problem?

That's when a portal opened up before us and she immediately went through, guess this is the way we're getting there. Everything began to change around me as I went through, it was a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

"Is this the location of the job?" I question while looking around.

"Yes, we've got information on a devil that hides here." Aziel says while slowly approaching the cabin.

That's when I could hear something rush past me within an instant, too fast to even track with my eyes. I could feel a familiar aura coming off of this thing, something I've dealt with before but I couldn't figure out what it was.

"My oh my. Kamako it's been awhile." The Familiar voice says from behind me.

Immediately I turn around to see the mask on the face of an enemy that I haven't seen since the demon lord. Kinnon, he was wearing completely different clothes but his mask was the same.

This bastard really doesn't change, though he does seem a lot stronger than he was before. That must be why he was called a devil.

I remember him having demonic armor last but times really do change.

"To think that you're still alive." I say while gritting my teeth.

Him being alive meant one of many things and that's what pissed me off the most. Rin could also be alive which would be a huge problem considering the fact that he could be a lot stronger now as well.

But I heard rumors of a new demon lord so where would he be if he wasn't involved like the old lord was?

"Is little Kamako scared of me? Hahaha. This is great." He says while laughing.

Kinnon always pissed me off with how he talked to people but that only feels natural with this demon filth. There's one major problem here though, he could be a lot stronger than me which would leave me useless again.

"Move idiot!" Aziel shouts while jumping over me.

All I could see was a bright burst of light exploding before me while flames began to emit from it. Was this her power?

Booooom!!!! An explosion immediately erupted from in front of me and all I could see was dust everywhere.

"Kekeke. To think I was worried for a second there." Kinnon says while laughing.

As the dust began to clear a bit I could see Kinnon holding his hand out, he blocked Aziel's attack completely. Was he that strong, or was she that weak...?

"Shut up, you're so annoying." Aziel Replies with a pissed off tone in her voice.

"I thought you hunters had rules to follow now?" Kinnon questions while moving his hand away.

As much as I hate this bastard, he wasn't wrong at all. We had to follow things since it could risk lives of innocent people, but I don't see anyone else out here.

"It won't matter to you." Aziel says as an intense aura begins to radiate from her.

That's when I noticed a giant fox creeping up from the shadows, was that the thing she had a contract with..? That thing is huge but the biggest feature about it was the tails it had.

It couldn't be...

Before Kinnon could even react, the fox immediately pounced on top of him and flames began to engulf him completely.

Kaboom!!! Burst!!!

Aziel grabbed my arm and pulled me back a couple of feet while I looked back at the giant fire. That attack caused so much damage, but did it kill Kinnon?

As the fox and the fire began to disappear, I could see a distant figure slowly standing up. How the hell did that bastard survive that?!?! Even I could feel the immense amount of power behind the attack itself.

"We're leaving." Aziel says with a serious expression across her face.

Before I could say anything she had already grabbed me and pulled me through portal back to the place from before. I have good reason to believe that this is the demon hunter headquarters.

"I don't understand anything that just happened." I speak up while looking at Aziel.

"You're such an idiot. You obviously don't know anything." Aziel responds with a frustrated tone.

I could hear footsteps coming towards us, it was similar to Vivians but the vibe was completely different. Who was going to approach me now?

As the figure approached I could see that it was a taller person who was wearing a fancy suit with their face completely covered.

"You two are behind the recent job for the devil near the cabin, correct?" The Man with a familiar voice asks.

"Yes Sir." Aziel answers with a respectful tone.

She changed her tone almost immediately, who the hell is this?!?!
