"I'll offer you half my power for the next 5 years, in exchange I'll be taking 25 years off your life expectancy." Zeniel says as he moves back into the darkness a bit.
Wouldn't that be pointless considering I've learned that I cannot die from age? Or am I missing something here.
"I accept your offer." I reply as I open my eyes.
Everything immediately changed and I was back in the forest with Irie but I didn't feel the same as I did before. Was that even a good contract to agree to?
"We should probably be on guard Kamako." Irie suggests as she walks alongside me.
It seems that all happened a lot faster than I had expected it to. I wonder how it'll work when it comes to fighting since I didn't really get much of an explanation.
"Be Grateful Kamako, you've become a lot more than just a prophet now. Hahahaha." Zeniel says as he laughs.
I watched as my vision began to change all around me, the world before me was starting to look a lot more black and white then it did before. What's happening right now..?
My body felt strange and I looked down to notice something forming around my arms. A mix between Zara's power and Zeniel's.
A cloak made of pure black scales began to form around me as each second passed by, but was this going to be a good thing or a bad thing?
"Kamako what's happening to you?!?!" Irie asks with concern in her voice.
"Everything is okay." I say as it becomes harder and harder to breathe.
The skies were darkening and all the color I once saw was gone. The price I was about to pay didn't seem worth it anymore, this was starting to seem like hell itself.
"It seems you arrived on time." Kinnon says while walking towards us.
"Back up!" Irie shouts as her hand begins to glow.
"You want me to be afraid of a little succubus? How funny." Kinnon says as he keeps walking.
Everything began to feel wrong as I noticed a hood forming over my eyes. What is happening to me...
(Meanwhile back at the Demon Hunters Headquarters)
"The situation has changed." Vivian says while sitting at a large conference table.
"What's going on?" A man asks from the left side of the room.
"A prophet has done something terrible." Vivian responds while looking down at the table.
Whispers went throughout the room as J got ready to speak.
"We can handle him without killing. It'll just take someone strong enough to fight against him." J says as he looks across the room.
The room was filled with legendary demon hunters from all across the world, each one with a different power and a different level. Most being close to S while some were A.
That's when a man with some scars across his face came out from the corner of the room.
"I'll take care of the issue." The Man says as he looks towards J.
"You sure you want to handle it, Damien?" J asks with a serious tone.
"Yep." Damien responds before exiting the room.
Whispers went all throughout the room about the mysterious hunter known as Damien, most talking about him being real. Damien was an expert in killing demons, devil's, and even fought off a chaotic being.
It goes to show how truly strong he is, but that's not what makes him terrifying, it's the being he has a contract with.
(Back to Ivory Falls) Kamako's View.
Nothing was the same. The world changed, enemies remained, what was the point? I became a so called prophet to save the world from despair.
All of that brought us here, but did we gain anything from it?
It doesn't matter right now, I've taken power to deal with these exact problems that are plaguing the world as we know it. Kinnon is part of that plague and needs to be dealt with immediately.
Fwoosh!!! Pushing myself off the ground and towards Kinnon I could notice that he wasn't alone. Someone was watching from the distance.
But I could handle that afterwards, my punch connected with Kinnon instantly and sent him flying back through the trees. I watched as trees fell down and slowly made my way towards him.
Crash!!!!!!!! Crumble!!!!
Rocks were all I could hear falling in the distance as I got closer and closer to where he had crashed. He definitely took a lot of damage from that, no doubt in my mind.
"Huff. Huff. Wow that is a serious punch." Kinnon says while trying to catch his breath.
I was standing before him but all I could see was blood all over the ground, he was ignoring it. Maybe he didn't want to seem weak in front of his enemy, it's completely understandable.
"This is the end for you Kinnon." I say with a serious tone.
"The sinister voice doesn't suit you, neither does those dark black eyes." Kinnon replies as he sits there.
Before I could punch him, I realized he was describing my appearance. Did everything change that made me, me?
This power took over and it's something I'll have for the next five years but will I be able to return to my normal self. I hope that this isn't something I'll have to live with for the next five years, or I'd have to disappear.
I wouldn't want the people closest to me to suffer or to see how different I am.
Regardless, this needs to be dealt with.
I began punching Kinnon over and over again as this dark black mist engulfed my fists, something I never saw before.
Splat!! Splat!!!
Blood was starting to paint the walls until suddenly I felt someone grab a hold of my arms.
"F...Finish the job.." Kinnon says while blood drips down his face.
"Kamako this isn't you!" Irie shouts while holding my arm back.
My job was to kill Kinnon either way, wasn't it?
Flash!!!!!
A huge beam of light began to engulf the area and all I could see was a figure walking towards me, who is that?
