A/N: Hey, author here. Sorry for another revise. If you don't want to re-read the whole thing, just read paragraph 3-8. Also I've changed the date of the camp to June 20th 2026 instead of June 20th 2016. That's it for the revise. I'm sorry for my inexperience in writing a story. Hope you guys still enjoy it!!!

2 years has passed since my first meeting with Lysandre. Still can't believe that guy is a nice guy in this world. There's a lot of article about him online, talking about how nice of a guy he is. And yes, there is internet in this world. He also appeared in some talk shows on TV.
Although I'm still somewhat suspicous of him, I decided to hold my suspicion for now. Even if he is a bad guy, there's nothing that I can do about it. And Calem, as the current champion would definitely take an action if that's the case.
The champion in this world apparently have a duty to keep tabs with all Pokèmon related activity in the region that they have conquered. So they're not just waiting for another trainer to challenge them like in the game. They also have the Elite Four to help them with their duty.
Each champion has a term of sevice for 3 years. That's why the regional league is held for every 3 years. But apparently it's not that easy to become a champion in this world.
After you got your 8th gym badge, you then have to participate in the regional league, and there's gonna be always approximately a thousand people competing. This tournament has a single elimimation format, so once you lose, you're out.
And after winning the regional league, you then have to beat all of the Elite Four members within the time limit of 4 days. If you took more than 4 days, you'll be disqualified. And then finally you have to dethrone the current champion.
If you manage to become the champion, you can change the roster of the Elite Four with the trainer of your choice, or you can just leave it be.
This is way harder than the game. And imagine if Cynthia is the final boss. She would be the champion for decades!
I've also has done some research on my dad's accident. Apparently, he died in a hellicopter crash due to bad weather. But I found some article that says otherwise. They said there could be a third party involvement in the accident. Some of the weather experts says the weather was fine on that day. Although it was somewhat cloudy, there's a really low chance that they could've crashed.
The International Air Crash Investigation Department has been getting a lot of requests to do a further investigation. But they denied it, saying there's nothing more to be investigated.
It seems fishy to me. But again, I'm just a five year old right now, so I decided to do nothing about it for now. But I will do an investigation of my own once I start my journey in the future.
In this world, most trainers starts their journey at the age of 15. Apparently, not just anyone could become a trainer. You gotta have a trainer license in order to become one. And there's a test for it, and it's pretty hard. That's why the Pokèmon School exist.
The Pokèmon School is a place where people studies to become a trainer, a professor, or a breeder. In the first year, you'll briefly learn about all Pokèmons that exists in this world and their types as well. After that, from the second year onwards, you can choose to go the Pokèmon Trainer Academy, the Pokèmon Professor Academy, or the Pokèmon Breeder Academy.
The unique thing about the Pokèmon School is, there's no maximum age limit. However, there is a minimum age limit which is 7 years old.
There's also a thing called the Pokèmon summer camp. Basically, it's just a summer camp for childrens between the age of 5 to 8 where they will be playing and learning some things about Pokèmons.
The summer camp is held by the infamous Professor Oak for once every two years in the Kanto Region. And fortunately, they're helding one in June 20th 2026, which is tomorrow.
Right now, me and my mom are on a train to Lumiose City. We're gonna meet up with my uncle in his lab and then we're gonna go to the Lumiose City International Airport together from there.
Oh yeah, the eggs have hatched a couple months ago and now I have this little frog with me. When the egg hatches, I was so surprised that a shiny Froakie came out of it. I couldn't believe what I just got. I never thought that I would get a shiny from the egg that my uncle gave me. I named the little frog Zen.
Right now, Zen just follows me around on my shoulders because he doesn't have his own Pokèball yet.
After 20 minutes of train ride, we've finally arrived at the Lumiose Station.
"We're here, Augustine!" My mom said
"Ah, you guys are here. Come on, let's go take a breakfast at a nearby restaurant and go to the airport after that." Uncle said.
'Huh, she seems familiar. I feel like I've seen her somewhere.' I thought while looking at her.
"Ah, right. This is Serena. She's gonna travel to Kanto with us." Uncle explained.
'Oh yeah, she's the mini version of the female character that you play as in Pokèmon X/Y' I realized.
"Hello, I'm Serena." She introduced herself.
"Hello Serena, glad to have you with us. I hope you can get along with Yuu-kun." My mom said.
'Can you stop calling me that in front of other people? It's embarrasing!' I spoke inwardly.
"Hello, I'm Yuuta. Nice to meet you. And this is Zen." I introduced my self while shaking her hand.
"Froakie!"
"N-nice to meet you too." Serena said awkwardly, while looking a bit red on her face.
'Huh, was I not supposed to shake her hands there?' I spoke in my mind.
After that, we said good bye to the everyone in the lab and went to a restaurant nearby to eat breakfast. Uncle gave Alain the responsibility to take care of the lab while he's gone. I was kinda sad that Alain can't come along with us, but I'll be gone in just a couple days.
After we're done eating, we then took a taxi to Lumiose International Airport. I was surprised that this city has an airport, because in the game, Lumiose City was a lot smaller than this. I guess it does make sense since this is the most populated city in this world.
Our flight was scheduled at 8.00 A.M. After 40 minutes of waiting, we finally board the aircraft. The flight was about two and half hours long. And two and a half hours later, we finally landed on Viridian City International Airport. The airport and our hotel is only about 10 minutes away by taxi.
My uncle booked us a hotel near the Pokèmon Centre, so we went there to put all of our luggage there and go exploring the city. This city is way bigger than the one in game. It's almost like it's a different city.
I've been to some cities and towns in this world, and all the ones that I visited are a lot larger than in the game. Most people also travels using modern transportations like cars, trains, and planes. They're not using bicycle or walking like in the game, because the distance between cities and towns are pretty far.
My mom and my uncle seemed to be familliar with the city. Maybe it's because they've been here before. Also, the people here speaks in Hojokan.
My uncle is somewhat able to speak Hojokan. But he's not as fluent as me and my mom. Meanwhile, Serena can't speak Hojokan at all. But she can speak in a language that sounds like English, Unovic. And most of the people here can speak Unovic as well, but they mainly use Hojokan in their daily life.
Unova is a region that's based on some cities in the US, and Unovic is the name of the language that they use there. Apparently, Unovic is the universal language in this world. That's probably because Unova is the most advanced region in this world.
We're currently just having a lunch in one of the restaurants nearby our hotel. After we finished, I saw a boy with a light steel blue coloured hair and about my age, coming in to the restaurant. He seemed to accompanied by his parents and a shiny beldum.
'Wait, that hair, and a Beldum. Is that, Steven? And holy crap! That's a freaking shiny Beldum besides him!'
My uncle suddenly greets them in. "Hello Mr. Stone. It's been a while since the last time we met." My uncle spoke in Unovic.
"Oh, You are Professor Sycamore right? How are you professor?" Mr. stone said.
"I'm fine Mr. Stone. By the way, what brings you and your family to Kanto today?"
"Oh ho, I got an invitation from Professor Oak to his Pokèmon Summer Camp. You must've got one as well right?"
"Ah, I see, so you're son is going to that camp as well. I'm also bringing my nephew and a daugther of a friend."
"Oh, I thought these were your childs."
"No, he's the son of my friend, Ms. Yves. And this here is Serena Alarie, Mr. and Ms. Alarie youngest daughter."
"Oh, so that's their daughter."
"Hello Mr. and Ms. Stone." My mom greeted him.
"Oh, hello Ms. Yves. It's been a while seems the last time we met. I'm very sorry for your husband." Mr. Stone said.
"I'm very sorry as well. It must've been hard for you to raise a son without a father right?" Ms. Stone said.
"Thank you for your concerns Mr. Ms. Stone. But Yuu-kun has been growing up well. Augustine has been helping me as well. I'm very glad that my son could have a father figure like him." My mother said with a smile.
"Y-yui! I- I haven't done that much you know! *Ahem*" My uncle said while blushing.
"So that's how it is. Then I'm glad to hear that." Mr. Stone said with a smile.
Meanwhile, me, Steven, and Serena are having our own conversation.
"Woow! You have a rare variant Beldum? That's sick!" I said excitedly.
"Woow! You have a rare variant Froakie. That's so cool as well!." Steven said excitedly toom
"What do you guys mean rare variants? Are they different from the normal ones?" Serena asked.
"Yeah, a normal beldum has a blue color, and a normal froakie has a bright blue color. And they're really rare. That's why they're called the rare variants" Steven explained.
"Where did you get that beldum?" I asked him.
"I got it from an egg."
"Woah, no way! I got my Froakie from an egg as well!"
"Are all rare variants came from an egg?" Serena asked.
"No. Well, technically, yeah because all Pokèmons came from an egg. But you can find them in the wild as well. But as Steven said before, they're very rare." I explained.
"Wow! That means you guys are really lucky, right?" Serena said.
"Yeah, of course we are!" Steven said.
Suddenly, my mom called me and Serena. "Yuu-kun, Serena! Come on, we're leaving."
"Okay!" Me and Serena responded.
"See you at camp, Steven!" I said.
"Yeah, see you!" Steven responded.
"Ho ho, it seems like you have made some friends, Steven." Mr. Stone said while approaching Steven.
"Yeah. This camp is gonna be so fun!"
After our meeting with the Stone Family, we continued to explore the city untill evening before we went back to our hotel. We went to a park, the town square, and a mall. I could never imagine this city having a mall. But I guess it make sense, because this city is way bigger than the one in game. After we're done exploring, we went back to our hotel to take a rest for our trip to Pallet Town tomorrow.
'I'm so excited for this camp. Which Pokèmon character am I gonna meet next time other then Professor Oak? Am I gonna meet the other professor from other region as well?' I thought before going to sleep.
