I swallowed, "Okay." I looked down at the charm I had been clutching in my left hand since Mallon gave it to me. "Did you ever find out who made the warlock medallion?" I looked at her. "You said you were going to investigate it."
She nodded. "I did investigate it, the purpose of the medallion was indeed to block your magic, but I could never trace the original maker. What I could trace though was that whoever put it on you had a powerful blood bond to you. Have you ever made a blood pact with anyone?"
"What?" I shuddered. "No!" Blood bonds were as weird as they sounded. Basically, you made a promise sealed by blood and whoever broke it would be cursed by the bond. "I mean, I would remember that," I narrowed my eyes at her "right?"
She had a weird look on her face. "You can only go into a blood bond when you have reached the age of maturity for your species. Since you don't remember doing anything of such, there's only one option."
