"She will not serve them!" The Queen was enraged, "She isn't pretty enough! Nothing personal, my dear...They will be very... Very upset!"
The Queen wated for her husband's reply, playing her "enraged" sight for him. She wasn't really enraged, she almost never even slightly in rage. Maybe because of this side of her character she is considered to be dull. I personally think she just doesn't want to quibble over trivial matters.
"Well... I... Well..." The King struggled to shape his thoughts - he needed to reassure his wife, but how? What should he tell her?
"Well... What, my love?"
"Well... They... Yes!" Smiled the King. "She has vampire blood circulating in her veins, hasn't she?"
"And...?"
"And they will not drink her dry, won't they?"
"Oh... Yes, you're right!"
The King and the Queen happily join hands and started jumpy rocking around the room.
It is rather rational though. I do have vampire blood in my blood system. I am still a human, but my blood is poisoned after one time some rabid vampire tried to drink me against my will. So he bit me and I... Bit back.
"But, my lords, I am still not pretty enough." I broke the silence.
Usually the vampires like to drink from pretty and slim frigile people , not just those of the humankind. So why that vampire bit me? Cause, I assume, he hasn't eaten in months or so, he has been slim and frigile himself, though he hasn't been especially pretty... That's the reason I managed to take him down. Not the "not pretty" part, the "slim and frigile" one.
The monarchs looked at me with a dull expression then, both, sighed.
"She is right, my love!"
"But, honey, we don't want corpses on the party, do we?"
"We don't..."
"Besides, she needs to be there, I... Saw it, no... Not saw, I felt it while dreaming!"
"Oh, love... But..."
"Please, honey, believe me it is of utmost importance! She should be there!"
"Okay, you gave me a good reason anyway."
"And?" Interfered I.
"Thus I hereby dub thee the vampire servant!" Performed the Queen.
"Damn..."
