"Sarah, where is Ariana?" Joshua asked once he had ditched Mia and went to meet Sarah.
"She was supposed to be here."Sarah stated as Joshua looked confused.
"Supposed to be? She was supposed to be with you." Joshua complained.
"I'm sorry I don't even understand." Sarah apologized.
"No! It's not your fault, Sebastian had warned me that it was going to be a bad idea but I didn't listen." He groaned in frustration.
"I have to see her now before everything gets worse."
"No! You can't, not now it will only lead to more problem, you should just let her be for the main time." Sarah suggested as Joshua nodded his head, disappointed.

The exams for the session were over and soon the weekend came by and Ariana was set to go home. She had spent the whole day thinking about what Sarah had told her weeks ago and how she should follow her heart.
"Urgh...I didn't know it's this hard to admit but I think I like Joshua."
But...what I saw at the cafeteria still keeps playing back to me and what's making it worse is Joshua avoiding me after that incidence. Is it a coincidence or my imagination?
I went out to the common room after so long and decided to read a magazine to get off the stress when two girls entered the room talking and giggling. I had recognized one of them. Her name was Brie and she was one of the popular girls who followed Mia around.
"Didn't you hear the news?" Brie asked the other girl as she shook her head in denial.
"No!"
"Well, I heard that Joshua will be proposing to someone today." She stated.
"Really?" The other girl exclaimed.
"Yeah, he's holding a party today and he's invited all of his friends including Mia." Brie explained.
"I think he might make Mia his girlfriend, OMG!!" The other girl shrieked.
ARIANA'S POV:
Now I've had enough. What's all this rubbish? Joshua's having a party, he's inviting all our friends... except from me...I guess it's not just my imagination. Joshua really is avoiding me.

"I have done as you've said I should." Brie said as Mia smirked, handing her a silver bracelet.
"Thanks Mia!" Brie said and left.
"(Laughs) it's just a matter of hours before you realize that Joshua is mine Ariana, and I'm going to make him mine at this party tonight.
...
"Everything is already set and hope the invitations have been sent." Joshua asked.
"Invitations? I didn't send any invite...I just announced it in class." Sebastian explained.
"You did what? Was Ariana in class at that time?" He asked.
"I'm not sure...I don't really remember." Sebastian explained.
"Shit! I need to send her an invite right now, I'll be back."
ARIANA'S POV:
"Mom, I'm already outside waiting!" I complained over the phone.
"I'm sorry baby but the driver will be there soon, love you sweetie." She said and hung up as I sighed.
I looked up at the sky, and back at the girl's hostel.
"Well I had a good stay here." I said to myself as I smiled a little. It's the holidays tommorow but I'm going home today since everyone is out partying at Joshua's except me since I didn't get an invite.
