RING! RING!
"Evan? Why is he suddenly calling?"
"Hello Ariana!" Evan voice echoced in the silent night.
"Hello, is there any problem?" I asked.
"No...I...just want...to see you if you're not too busy." He stated.
"Are you sure that there's no problem?" I asked again as his answer remained 'no'.
"Okay, I'll be there soon." I said and hung up.
When the driver came, he help me put iny luggage and we drove off to Sara's house.
When I arrived a Sara's house, the maid opened the door for me which was kinda strange. It was always Sara or Evan who used to welcome me in.
"Miss Watson! This way please." The maid said as she led the way upstairs to Evan's bedroom.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Urm... Evan are you in?" I asked, tapping the door softly.
"Ariana.... Ariana." He answered in a broken tone as I frowned, but worried and confused on whether I should come in or not but I still later opened the door to see Evan seating on the floor, cans of beer around him.
"Evan! Evan!" I called as I rushed forward to sit him on the bed.
"Evan, are you okay? Why did you call me here and where is Sara?" I asked as Evan held until my hands tightly as he struggled to keep his eyes opened.
"Ariana...I...I have something...to tell you." He stammered, trying to catch his breath.
"Okay, but first tell me why you've been drinking, it's unlike you." I asked as I bent down to pick up the cans of beer which he had drank.
"It's because of you." He said in a low tone but enough for me to hear what he said as I suddenly dropped the beer cans and looked up to see him staring at me.
"What do you mean?" I tried to ask.
"Ariana you remember that time you helped me overcome my heartbreak." He said as I nodded slowly. I remember that time three years ago when his girlfriend broke up with him and I and Sara had to talk him out of it.
"Yes I do." I finally spoke.
"It was during that time that I realized my true feelings."
"What feelings?" I thought to myself.
"Ariana!" He called my name as he managed to stand up and bend down, now making eye contact with me.
"Why does this feel so award?" I thought to myself.
"Ariana, I know you might take what I want to say next as a joke but it's not...you might even think I'm crazy but I'm not." He said as he held me by the arm.
"Evan, stop this your..."
"I love you Ariana." He confessed as I stared at him in shock. I was quiet, everything suddenly went still, what's going on? I don't know, Evan is in love with me but...
If he had told me earlier then...
"Evan! Stop!" I shouted once I regained my senses and pushed him away.
