Kiaraa pursed her lips in confusion. Did this mean that he was actually hurt or something? She remembered Su Tian Informing her that he had risked his life by rushing into the fire just to save her. Did he get hurt in the process and refused to take any treatments just so he could tend to her?
Or did he just faint out of exhaustion?
Kiaraa's eyes widened in fear. In a panicked state, her hands flew up to his shoulder, ready to shout out for help.
"I'm fine," His cold voice drawled out from her neck causing her to shudder slightly as his hot breath fanned her neck. She felt his shallow and faint breaths making the hairs behind her neck stand.
She had never been this close to a boy before and even if she had, the first thing that would come to her head was how to give the person a good beating then why couldn't she do anything with this one right now?
