Nixon's
"You can, take it easy .. because when there is no anger in your heart, you can gradually progress, not that fast, at least you're making progress. It's not the person that's hard to forget, and it's the feeling and the memories they gave. "
I stared at her after she said that word. I was shocked because she was so mentally strong.
Is she a real person? Or is it just the result of my dream? If she were real, I would have known him. She's beautiful, I don't have the word beautiful for me to describe her... her hair is so long that I estimate it will go beyond her waist, her lips are red even without lipstick, her nose is small and piercing to fit her face... and the best of all is his eyes, drowning to look at, I can see in his eyes the feelings he has. He is white and of average build.
I was stunned by him as he closed his eyes and felt the wind. So when he looked up and turned to me, I immediately spoke and held out my hand.
"By the way, I'm Nixon .. we've talked before, but we don't know each other yet." I smiled at him, and unlike before, it reached up to my eyes. I felt relieved because of what she said.
"I'm alt ----" he interrupted what he was saying; she suddenly turned pale and restless .. he suddenly disappeared from my sight .. he seemed to have been blown by a dandelion.
I stared at the sunflower and picked it up. Hopefully, we will meet again, whether in a dream or reality.
I got up immediately from my bed and looked around. I remember that I was the only one in this house.
I got up and went to the kitchen to drink water, then I took a shower and arranged things to go to the publishing company that my parents left me. Which is they know I won't let it down, and I'll do everything I can to keep it out of the industry. This is not my passion, but it also have something to do with how to draw.
My siblings really love that company; I only go there when there are meetings with the higher-ups and only when I want to. I also don't show up to employees because I just don't want to.
While I was eating, I heard someone calling on skype, so I stood up and saw Ate Yumi calling.
"Hello, brother. I want you to attend the meeting in the company at 8 am sharp. Okay. Bye!" That's all, and she ended the call; she didn't even bother to ask how I was doing.
Annoyed, I left the house and walked to the bus station... Coding my car, he knew that, why was he meeting. Tsk!
I am sitting at the bench while listening to music as if I felt something strange, as if someone was pushing me to lift my eyes.
Which I did, and I was surprised to see the woman of my dreams! She is looking at me too, and shock was written in her face.
I got up and pointed at him, but suddenly the bus he was riding started moving. I can't believe I saw him.
But why? Seems like he knows me too? He was also surprised. Did she really went to my dream unconsciously? Is it really possible?
I was dumbfounded that I can't even think straight, I sat down, and I googled if it was possible for someone to get into someone else's dream.
'Is it possible to enter the dream of others?'
"Mutual dreaming is the idea that two or more people can share the same dream environment. The concept was popularized in Inception, where lucid dreamers could link up via technology and roam around the unconscious of a single dreamer. But what's the basis for mutual dreaming in the real world? "
It's not clearly said that it's possible. But it seems we've done it without the help of technology.
A bus has arrived, because to my surprise earlier I was not on board.
The bus stopped at Precious Moon Publishing. I turned around and went in because I didn't want anyone to see me.
And when I arrived at my office, it was only 7:39 am, so I continued searching about that mutual dreaming.
Althea's
Nixon is real! Omg!
I turned to Fritzie, who was reading on her cellphone, and I shook her on the shoulder!
"Omg, best! Nixon! He's real! I saw him earlier at the bus stop !!" I shouted so loudly that all the passengers looked at me.
I slowly closed my mouth and adjusted my cough.
"My gosh, best if my cellphone fell and it broke, I'll slap you! You're crazy! Who is Nixon you're talking about, and why is it true?"
"The man of my dreams!" I shouted softly at her.
She frowned. "You mean the guy in your dream?"
I was stunned by what she said. I scolded her. "You just repeated what I said!" She laughed.
"Okay, okay. Maybe it just looks like, or you're overthinking about the man, and he has a name, right?" I circled him.
"No, best no! I'm sure he is! When he saw me, he also stood up in shock, and he pointed at me!" Her eyes immediately widened, and she covered her mouth.
"Seriously? He pointed you out?" I nodded. "Is it possible that you have the same dream? Maybe he was just surprised at you, so he taught you?"
I ignored her, and I searched on google.
'Is it possible to share a dream with someone?'
"Mutual dreaming is the idea that two or more people can share the same dream environment. The concept was popularized in Inception, where lucid dreamers could link up via technology and roam around the unconscious of a single dreamer. But what's the basis for mutual dreaming in the real world? "
I read it to Fritzie, and I actually even brought it closer to her face. She snatched my phone and read it.
"It's not said here that's proven, and it's also not said it's true. Well, you know that's impossible. Let's go down."
We arrived at Precious Moon Publishing. I'm walking, but I feel like I'm floating.
When the car arrived at our office, I went straight to my table. I thought I would make the plot of the story my dream and what happened earlier.
That's why I wrote down what happened in my dream, and it was very clear in my brain every line we left there, as well as our meeting at the bus stop.
After a few hours, I fixed it, and imagined the ending. Because I was only going to submit a draft, I summarized the story and deleted the dialogue.
I was walking to Madam's office, but I still couldn't forget what happened earlier. I knocked on the door.
"Come in!" I heard Madam shout, so I entered. "It's good, Althea, and you're going to pass something to me." I pouted and bowed at her.
I put the draft I made on her table, and she read it. I just stood in front of her as I played with my fingers.
"Good, good story. They always dream of each other, then one day they bumped with each other. I love it! Good job!" He still knows how to smile. Jusko buti na lang no. I thought he would reject me again because he dreamed of me.
I just frowned and left his office. But before I could finally get out, he spoke.
"I want you to write this, finish it with ten chapters. 'The dream becomes a reality. I don't want you from dream to reality. Okay? Submit two chapters today with 5000 words. Understand?" I swallowed.
"Yes, madam," and I went out.
Does it seem so easy to write if you already have a plot, right?
When I got back to our office, Fritzie greeted me.
"Friend! My god! There's a dog in the lobby!" He shouted as he ran closer to me.
"Huh? Dog? The guard let them in?" Eh? Maybe the guard is new and didn't know the protocols.
"That's it! The guard let them in, thinking it was a human! That dog just pretended to be human!" And by that, I realized what she said.
"Tyler is here?"
"Yes!"
"Wait, I'm just going" I turned to her, but she held my arm.
"Why are you going to see him? Maybe that fool will spit lies to you, and because you still love him, you'll be fooled again!"
"Calm down, okay? I'll just talk to him, and will tell him to go."
I removed her grip on my arm and entered the elevator.
What is he doing here? And what does he need? He already chose between her and me, right? When I came to the lobby, I saw him, but he was talking to someone. I couldn't see who he was talking to because he turned his back. I approached them, but the man left just in time.
"Who's that?"
"Ah, Blaze is my friend." I nodded. "Can we talk?"
I stared at him, and it still hurt me to see him. I was afraid that when I talked to him, I would just cry in front of him and say that he has come back to me, that he will just choose me.
"All right" after all, he's already here; maybe when I'm enlightened by what happened, I'll forget that he really is.
We went to the coffee shop curtain. I looked for a seat while he ordered.
My hands are shaking, feeling I anytime I will break down here. He arrived and placed his orders.
"What should we talk about? I thought it was clear that the conversation took place over the phone?" I asked him, but I didn't look at him.
"I just want to explain everything to you. Thea, I'm sorry. I know I hurt you very damn much. I knew you were having a hard time with your problems at that time that you're losing time for me .. but I also needed you the most that time; I'm always alone. I also want someone who will be with me. I didn't mean to look for someone else, it wasn't in my plan, and suddenly she just came, and I don't know what happened, we just clicked. I'm also confused, Thea; until now, I'm still in a mess. "
"Tyler? Do you want sympathy? Wow! Why did you sympathize with me when I needed you? You left me! Instead of making me feel that you are there for me, I can get through it, but you left me! Then all of a sudden, I will know that Do you have someone else? How did you manage to trade those four years in just a few weeks ??? Why Tyler? " I couldn't hold back my tears. It hurts like hell.
He bent down and could not look at me.
"Why Tyler? I saw you at your worst! I've been with you throughout. I stayed! It never even crossed my mind to leave you, but when you saw me at my worst, you couldn't bear to leave. When the world turned its back on me, turn your back on me too! Instead of holding my hands so that we could fight together, you left me alone. I can't believe that in almost four years with you I fought all your struggles in buhay ... ay i-iwanan mo l-ang d..din pala ako. " My tears kept dripping, and I was looking at each other, but I didn't know anything.
"I'm sorry, Thea, I know I'm stupid. I don't know what to say to ease your heart. Just be mad at me; that's okay, Thea."
"I can't be angry, Ty, you know that. You hurt me so much, but I don't feel angry, even if I want to."
"I'm sorry, Thea, I'm sorry. Not now, I hope you forgive me, and I hope we can be friends. You deserve something better for me." He stood up. "I'm leaving; sorry again, Thea."
"Who cares if I deserve better? Eh, you're the one I want?" I whispered as I looked behind him.
I hit my chest and cried silently. When I felt okay, I got up and was about to walk out the door when suddenly a bus passed by and I saw Nixon. He closes his eyes and listens to music.
See you in my dreams, Nixon.
