Alessio POV
They had been hiding, watching, for two days now. Waiting.
"Sir, something isn't right." Sebastian said.
"I know." he said curtly.
They had watched the patrols go by all day yesterday, and today, not one single patrol. He didn't need his Beta to tell him something that was obvious.
"They know we are coming. They are pulling their guards back, they are getting ready to fight." Alessio told him.
"But how? How did they know we were coming?" Sebastian asked.
"I don't know. Cut the fence, let's go." Alessio commanded.
"But sir-" Sebastian began.
Alessio grabbed him up by his throat and squeezed. "If you value your life, you will do what the fuck I say and not question me again."
Alessio threw Sebastian against a tree. Sebastian landed on his knees, clutching his throat.
Coughing and gasping for air.
"Yes sir." he said hoarsely.
"Do it." Sebastian said, turning to the guy holding the metal cutters.
