Opening the door revealed the interior of a regular house just like the last house he had just been to.
Vain and Abigale stepped inside at the ready waiting for whatever would come at them, but what came at them was a Clump moving as fast as it could to the door. This behavior made Vain extremely confused since all Clumps prefer a surprise attack to get their prey.
With a quick thought Vain could only prepare to fight without giving the Clump's weird behavior any attention. The Clump on the other hand kept doing strange things by swiping Vain away without a weapon to bludgen the pair with.
Vain even more confused could only defend and think harder about the weird behavior. As the Clump had attacked as soon as Vain stepped into the house, he was forced to take the fight outside to fight without restraint, but as soon as Vain got outside the Clump avoided Vain any more and went around him.
