As the fog shifted to reveal the cursed entity, Vain saw another being slightly shorter next to it.
Slowly the fog was pushed away to reveal a person who looked human. As the fog revealed her face, Athena appeared in front of Vain.
"HEY!" Athena quickly ran out of the fog directly at Vain and gave him a big hug.
Vain felt his heart melt seeing the girl he had raised for the entirety of her stay in this place, at least until the stupid organization took her away. He quickly hugged Athena back and started to act protective of her once again and did his best to use his body to block the view of the tentacle entity.
Kraken on the other hand simply stood at the side while the pair hugged each other for the next half an hour without letting go. As an immortal, he viewed the time as a small reunion that couldn't be considered long in his eyes.
