I said all of that stuff but... what do I even do first?
I know where Anastasia is but I don't know how I even go about approaching the situation.
Wait, is he even a student in the first place? I'll have to ask the principal.
"Sorry but the principal is not at school, at the moment."
I went to the principal's office during break time and I met her assistant... Uh... I forgot his name but the guy who calls her, 'mademoiselle' for some reason.
Once again, he was holding a massive pile of sheets.
"What'd you mean, not at school?"
Alicia asked the timid man.
"W-well, that information is secret."
"Just at the right time too."
I said, scratching my head, trying to find a better idea.
"I'm pretty sure he's not a student."
Alicia said to me.
She's been saying this since I gave her my idea.
"Yeah, but it doesn't make sense that he's able to come into the school. The school doesn't let the nobles do what they want, no matter what, right?"
"It may be a little different when it comes to Alexander because of his Mortal Sin backing. I was with him when he came to Japan a few weeks ago, and he rented a whole hotel. Seems like he can do almost anything."
That's a bummer. I thought there was definitely a way I could get him out without directly attacking. Attacking is a no go without a plan.
"Oh, you want to know about Alexander, then I tell you a bit."
"Eh?!"
Both of us exclaimed as we stared at the lab coat guy, who blinked in confusion.
"Wait, why would you tell us when we mentioned him? Shouldn't you be not telling us?"
"But Mademoiselle Ryoko is the one who said that I should tell you if you mentioned him."
"The principal? What's your relationship with her?"
Alicia asked, furrowing her brow in my direction.
"Nothing special. She just seems to have an interest in me. One that I don't like."
"She said that she detests people roaming around freely in her territory, so she asks you to get rid of Alexander King."
"So, would you mind telling us a bit, uh..."
This is why I didn't ask. I met this guy once, if not twice, but I still don't know his name. Alicia was stuck since she had no idea what his name was.
"Call me Minato."
"Minato! Please tell us..."
"Ah, well, first of all, Alexander King has a month's stay. Though it's about two weeks and a half now."
"Stay? Principal Kamish let him stay here?"
Minato looked nervous. He's had an expression of withdrawal ever since we came.
"Right, because she doesn't have the power to oppose someone with a giant backing like the King family."
"As a result, she doesn't like him because it's like intruders are on her turf..."
Alicia surmised, putting her hand on her chin.
That's a very gang-like way to think about it.
"Mademoiselle also told me to tell you something else important... I've forgotten. Wait, I wrote it down."
Minato began searching through his pile of papers. Alicia and I watched him, as he skimmed through each sheet.
"Ah, here it is. Oh!"
As he selected the sheet of paper, the whole pile fell onto the floor, scattered everywhere.
He considered picking them up but he looked at us instead.
"Uh, so, she told me to tell you that—"
We listened carefully to his words. Then, the girl and I exchanged quizzical looks. It was fairly strange advice.
"That's if we..."
"Yes, sorry, I don't understand it either but it's best to listen to the principal's words."
Minato began picking up the sheets on the ground. Honestly, I felt bad for him so I also began picking the papers up for him.
"I'll help."

"Runes. We'll be learning about rune scriptures today."
Merlyn said, circling the class.
I haven't been in many classes but it seems like in some classes, it's mixed students of all classes. And, of course, by coincidence, my deskmate is a girl. One that I met recently.
"This should be interesting, don't you think?"
Vienna asked me.
I didn't like her romantically but I couldn't help but blush. I mean, she is my favourite idol, who's now my friend.
"Y-yeah..."
This is the first Ancient Runes lesson I've been in this year.
"We've been learning about fancy runes until now. Now, we'll be learning about rune scriptures. The most common yet hardest runes to learn."
I feel like this is what Alicia was talking about. With her telepathy rune ability.
"These are most common since you can see them anywhere. But it's the hardest to learn because of the runic language. It's hard to understand."
Merlyn got a briefcase out and showed us a tablet of runes. I couldn't understand one bit.
It seems like no one understood either.
I looked at Vienna but she shook her head at me.
"None of you can read this, right? So—"
"That's a rune for short-range teleportation."
Someone called out. Everyone in the class turned to them.
It was Kaguya. It seemed like she could read the runes. Which reminds me, her sword has runes engraved into it.
"Oh,"
Merlyn was impressed. A sadistic smirk appeared on her face.
"May I ask your name? I've only had this class for two lessons."
"I'm Kaguya Homura."
"Well, Kaguya, can I ask if you have any possessions with runes? It may be useful for the lesson."
"Sure."
The girl smiled.
Kaguya stood from her chair and bent her knees, assuming a javelin stance. A flame, which was slightly long, formed in her hand. She launched it at Merlyn—she caught it between her fingers.
"Thank you."
The teacher said.
I could tell that Kaguya was excited. From the looks of it, she threw it with all of her strength but Merlyn stopped it with ease.
The flames stopped burning, revealing a sword. The sword that Kaguya had.
"May I ask for the name?"
"Nuri."
Merlyn inspected Kaguya's sword, Nuri, closely.
"This here is an example of the greatness of runes. Assuming that Kaguya's main affinity is Fire, she has a flame conduction rune, as well as, a spell link rune. There are a few amazing runes on it too."
Merlyn is enjoying herself since... I have no idea what she's saying...
