Two weeks later and there are only a few days left. I don't exactly have that much time left but tomorrow is a Saturday and I'll start tomorrow.
I'll have free time and the time to set everything up. They should be able to get here in around 20 minutes from when I call them, so I don't have to call today.
I'm slightly worried since fighting is prohibited on Altria grounds but... yeah...
Oh, I forgot to mention something. I made new allies within a week too. Since Alexander King seems to keep a close eye on Anastasia, he doesn't focus too much on his servants.
I called out to them and we formed a temporary alliance. Me and the Athenblade Twins, I mean.
"Our mother is one of two servants that Alexander brought with him here. The other is a man named John Stone, but someone else can handle him. As for our mother..."
Calira was first to object to the idea but Sebastian seemed to convince her. That's how we get here, discussing who takes on who.
"You two can take her on, right?"
I asked them.
I know it's a little late to decide but it's for the best. Of course, this is only if we're able to somehow pull everything off successfully. I won't lie though, I don't have much of a plan, excluding my backup plan.
"I mean... we can try..."
Calira mumbled. Even Sebastian didn't look too bright.
Yeah, as anyone can see, we aren't doing too great. Alicia was doing her own thing and the Athenblade twins did not seem too content with the idea of rebelling despite becoming allies.
If I'm being honest, a frontal assault is probably the worst idea I could come up with. Though it may be the only plan I came up with.
It's not like I can do much in Altheria. Being in this city limits methods of attack. Oh well, at least we're able to handle things cleanly, as long as we don't cause any major trouble. Principal Kamish should be able to clean it up.
"Not try, you'll have to do it."
I told Calira before she snapped.
"Huh?! Don't you know how hard it is to fight our mother?! You shouldn't—"
"I don't. I don't care. You shouldn't either. You'll win, because your master's freedom is at stake, right?"
She closed her mouth after listening to me. Sebastian nodded lightly and Calira, reluctantly, did the same.
"How about you?"
Calira asked.
"Against Alexander King?"
"He certainly is selfish but he isn't weak."
"Oh, I'll win alright. He's restricting Anastasia's freedom, I will win against him. No matter what."
I looked over at Alicia, who hadn't been engaging in this conversation. She was in her own realm entirely.
"So, you'll take on John Stone, then?"
"I'll do whatever I want."
"But—"
"You don't have a proper plan, do you?"
She caught on.
"Thus, I'll do whatever."
This whole meeting was useless, wasn't it?
·———·
Yeah. Time flows by quickly. It was already the next day and I prepared myself for what was to come. Today, I've gotten a text from Sebastian, Alexander King is in the hotel he rented out.
So, entering may be a bit taxing but it's the only way to directly attack him.
Actually... I thought of something that may work better. First, I need to call Alicia, which is what I did.
I asked her to meet me at the entrance of the hotel where Alexander was staying at.
After getting dressed, I headed there myself. I met Alicia at the entrance.
"What's this about, I thought you wanted to attack directly?"
"It's called passive aggression."
I told her, but it only fostered more confusion within Alicia.
"Passive aggression? What bullshit are you spewing?"
I didn't answer her as I walked into the hotel, ignoring the calls of the dumbfounded Alicia, behind me.
The thing I thought of was going to Alexander directly.
I entered the hotel and the receptionist immediately spoke to us.
"I'm sorry but our hotel is shut down for the month, please—"
"Where is Alexander King?"
I asked her.
She nervously stared at me and attempted to change subjects.
"S-sir, please, we will have to remove you directly, if you don't follow instructions."
The woman said.
I feel sad for her having to deal with me, so I don't want to trouble her too much, but there isn't anything I can do...
"Rebecca, let us go to Alexander."
Alicia practically ordered the woman.
When she saw Alicia, the woman winced slightly.
"L-Lady Rebecca, it's so nice to see you..."
I don't sense good sparks flying through the air.
"Take us to Alexander, otherwise I'll have you go bankrupt after this all is over."
The receptionist bit her lip and pointed at the elevator with her arm.
"Room 100, then."
She bitterly said.
We walked over to the lift and took it to the second floor, where Room 100 would be. Casually, I approached the door when—
BOOM!
The door of the room burst and hit the corridor wall. I was ready to summon Erebus when a hand pushed me onto the wall.
In that instant, I reflexively swung my fist, but that was also blocked. When I finally looked at the person, I realised who it was.
Alita, the mother of the Athenblade twins.
"You dare to come here personally?"
"Hold on, Alita! We came here to talk!"
Alicia shouted in my defence.
"Well, isn't that nice, I can finally get rid of the blemish that stained Anastasia?"
Coming through the door was Alexander, who was smiling insidiously at me.
"The memories and things you've put in her head are useless. Even after two weeks, she still clings onto a faint image of you and someone else, but it won't be anymore if I kill you."
He explained, glaring at me.
"You can die there in Alita's hands. And then we'll never see each other again."
I've had enough of this bullshit.
