Chapter 113 - Exodia 113: Zayner Ness

"UNO!"

"Sheesh. You weren't joking when you said you've never lost a single UNO game."

Akane said, dropping her cards and resting on her arms.

"This has been a lot of fun though."

Yumeko muttered.

"Speak for yourself."

Calira dropped her numerous cards. She had more than 20. Calira has never won a single game in her life. Excluding video games, of course. However, card games and board games are her worst enemies.

[Attention.]

My ears popped when I suddenly heard the female autonomous voice.

[It is 9:35 am. The banquet will start within the next ten minutes. Please, all guests must arrive in the dining hall before then for organisation. Thank you.]

Ah, nice. Finally, a main event.

"Sebastian, clear up the cards."

I stood up and told him.

He did as he was told without complaining.

"You all heard that, right?"

I asked.

They all nodded.

These are useful headphones. They even broadcast the events. That's nice. Hopefully, no one gets lost. Well, not that it matters to me.

"Let's get down there."

"But, Miss..."

Calira started.

I turned.

"Hm?"

"Your kimono."

I looked at myself.

I left my chrysanthemum-patterned kimono in my room. It's one floor up and on the other side of the hallway.

"I'll go get it."

---

I was able to get my kimono easily, even with the crowds in the hallway. I went down using the lift and met the group next to the entrance of the dining hall.

There was a large line.

"Uhm, you should not push into the line, young woman!"

A large woman shouted at me.

She was pampered with makeup and blatantly wore a wig. I have no idea who she is.

"Sorry, miss, but I'm going with my group."

"Young lady, I do not care! Not even my daughter would talk back to me!"

Well, I'm not your daughter, am I?

"Tell me, where are your parents?!"

She asked, looking around.

I became bored.

"What's with that look?!"

The woman asked me.

"Do my parents need to be with me?"

I asked her, sarcastically.

The line began to move forward, so I walked forward as well to try and defuse the situation but this prideful nobody shouted at me once more.

"Do not walk away from me! Where are your parents?! What is your name?"

The woman asked, holding my shoulder.

Seriously, whoever is her daughter is unlucky. If I had a mother like this, I'd kill myself.

"Excuse me, but can you handle the consequences?"

"Handle the consequences?"

She repeated.

"I'm asking you, that if I tell you my name, will you be able to handle the consequences?"

"Young girl, you do not--"

"Anastasia Kou Vladimir Clarent Louise Foryer Von Sabre Reishville."

The woman shrieked back.

"Just so that your small brain could understand, I told you my full name which I don't tell anyone. Anyway, let go of me."

She did so and ran off.

God, seeing people like this is annoying. Plus, having to say my own goddamn full name is exhausting. At least, she's off my tail.

"Welcome, ladies."

The man with sunglasses greeted us.

"May the masters tell me their names?"

"I am Akane Kabura and she is Anastasia Kou Sabre Reishville."

Akane introduced us.

He nodded.

"Okay, Lady Kabura and her servant shall sit on table 323, meanwhile Lady Reishville and her servants will sit on table 967."

Oh. We're far apart. They've already set us out onto tables. I thought it'd be like the way they did the rooms. First come, first served.

Still surprised they took their time spreading us out.

And so, Akane and I said bye as we went to our tables. The dining hall was large. Probably 3 times larger than the house I currently live in with Akane.

When I see another sunglasses guy, I'll ask him how many people there are here.

"Table 966... 967, here, Lady Anastasia."

Sebastian held the chair out for me and I sat down first. Then, Calira and Sebastian. As soon as we sat, a servant served us red wine.

"I'm not used to being served."

Calira said.

A servant, who's supposed to serve, is being served. Quite ironic, isn't it?

Sebastian tasted the wine.

"Oh, Crimson Dementia! They served us wine from the Ivanovich Industries."

I guess Mr Rejan will get a lot of recognition here for his wine.

"Lady Anastasia."

My female servant called out to me as I put the wine glass to my mouth. I retracted it and bitterly spat at her.

"What?"

"Sorry, but have you noticed?"

"Noticed?"

Since Calira was scanning with her eyes, I also looked around.

"Oh. That's what you meant."

Looking around, I recognised a lot of nobles, which terrified me, and they all had a single thing in common. All the nobles in my area were British. Or, more specifically, from England.

They separated us based on regions. Akane is probably in the Japan section.

Ugh, there's a VIP section above us.

The large double door closed, probably meaning that we're full.

The lights dimmed and shone over us like the moonlight. All of our eyes were drawn to the one place with proper light; the stage.

A man walked onto it with absolute confidence.

He was tall. I would say he's at least 6 feet. His hair was a pale blonde and tied into a pale ponytail.

He walked over to the microphone.

"Hello, I am Zayner Ness, the leader of the ISO, also known as the International Streia Organisation."

The man smirked.

His eyes were a unique shade of purple; lavender. The tips of his hair were coloured pink and the smirk he wore seemed permanent.

The narcissistic figure that Sebastian admired.

"Now that all of you bum nobles are here, I'll start talking."

People began complaining at his sudden retort. He began shamelessly picking his ear and blew the tip of his pinky.

"All of you, shut up. Let me talk. You're too low-valued compared to me."

Crap, this guy is crazy!
